Blade cultivator is extremely rare, with perhaps one in a million martial cultivators being able to master it. Those who can develop Blade Gale are even rarer.
Such blade cultivators are often backed by powerful forces.
After all, blade cultivators who can develop Blade Gale are highly valued and nurtured by major forces, often holding the status of core disciples.
Lucas, who was initially arrogant, now wore a complex expression, not expecting to encounter a blade cultivator who had mastered Blade Gale here.
This situation was now somewhat tricky.
The disciples of Raging Wave Valley, though proud, were not fools.
Titus held the Horse Beheading Blade with one hand, its blade dragging on the ground, exuding an unstoppable aura. The Blade Gale surging around the Horse Beheading Blade was truly intimidating.
Lucas's expression kept changing, sensing that although Titus's aura was not strong, merely at the Element Integration Stage, he was a Blade cultivator.
A standoff ensued.
Raelyn nervously clenched her clothes.
"Which sect do you belong to? Who is your master?"
A deep and slightly hoarse voice asked. A middle-aged man in a Raging Wave Valley martial robe appeared, landing slowly and staring indifferently at Titus.
"Master," Lucas and other Raging Wave Valley disciples quickly paid their respects.
Hovering high, walking on air.
Innate Realm Expert!
Onlookers were shocked.
"I belong to no sect and have no master," Titus replied indifferently.
"An unaffiliated cultivator?"
Yale Willow surveyed Titus and said coldly, "A martial artist without a sect or master, even barely maintaining three-tenths of his Sea of Qi, is virtually useless. Even as a blade cultivator who has developed Blade Gale, what can you do? With your ability, you dare to harm my Raging Wave Valley disciples?"
"You are unreasonable! It was your Raging Wave Valley people who wanted to kill us first...” Raelyn retorted angrily.
"Regardless of the reason, you killed a disciple of my Raging Wave Valley. You must die!" declared Yale, raising his hand to strike Titus.
Roar!
Suddenly, a thunderous roar filled the air, followed by terrifying waves in the sky. The Cloud Boat began to toss, throwing some people off before they could react.
Yale quickly retracted his hand, channeling his power to stabilize himself.
Seizing the opportunity, Titus grabbed the mast, saving Raelyn from being thrown out.
As the Cloud Boat's turmoil subsided, some on the deck turned pale, realizing that some had been thrown out into the boundless sea.
Those who fell into the sea were unlikely to return alive.
"Look over there!" someone shouted in terror.
Everyone looked in the direction pointed, seeing two massive Kun Monster Beasts, their enormous bodies obscuring the sky as they slowly parted.
"So that's the Kun Monster Beast..." many exclaimed in awe, having heard of them but never seen them before.
The sight was utterly shocking.
Titus helped Raelyn up.
“Xenos, are you alright..." Raelyn began, but her face suddenly changed with alarm. "Be careful, Xenos!" She quickly stepped forward, shielding Titus.
Shing!
Hearing the sound of a sharp blade, Titus's expression changed drastically, but it was too late to stop it.
Lucas had already stabbed Raelyn in the back.
"Get out of my way, wretch."
Lucas infuriated by his unsuccessful ambush, kicked Raelyn in the back, sending her tumbling aside. Raelyn rolled twice, coming to a stop before Titus.
Gazing at the motionless Raelyn, Titus froze. Her blood, a striking crimson, flowed from her body, quickly spreading around.
In that moment, all sounds seemed to vanish, and the world fell into a profound silence.
Titus looked at Raelyn lying on the ground, at the glaring red blood, at her fading life force, and memories of their first meeting flooded his mind.
“Xenos, let me help you."
“Xenos, be careful."
“Xenos, we are about to complete the silver-level mission. What do you plan to exchange for?"
“Xenos..."
Scenes after scenes flashed before his eyes, and Titus's eyes gradually reddened. His body trembled violently, veins bulging on his clenched hands.
At this moment, an intense desire to kill surged within Titus.
Even when he was crippled, stripped of his Martial Spirit, Titus had never felt such a strong urge to kill. Now, all he wanted was to end Lucas's life.
Suddenly, in Titus's eyes, appeared the vision of that world he once knew – a world tinted in blood-red, resonating with a unique rhythm. Slowly, the earth and sky converged, transforming into a blade.
What is a blade?
Veins as the blade, bones as the blade, soul as the blade.
What is the blade soul?
Transforming the world into spirit, turning the human soul into the blade soul...
Titus closed his eyes, immersing himself in this profound state, feeling an unprecedented mystical sensation.
An extraordinary soul blade began to form within him...
Kill!
Titus opened his eyes, erupting with tremendous power.
Starshine!
The Horse Beheading Blade cut through the void, like a star falling from the sky, slashing towards Lucas with immense force.
Lucas, upon seeing this, curled his lips into a cold smile. He was a core disciple of Raging Wave Valley, possessing pinnacle-level cultivation in the Element Integration Stage. He had come to represent Raging Wave Valley in the competition for entry into the South Figaro Martial Hall.
Within Raging Wave Valley, Lucas also held a prominent position among the core disciples. Martial cultivators with similar levels of cultivation would generally not be his match.
A crippled blade cultivator, daring to kill him?
Lucas laughed coldly, swinging his sword to form a dense sword net, which initially absorbed the force of the Horse Beheading Blade.
"You think you can fight me? You're overestimating yourself," Lucas mocked.
Nine Star Collapse!
Titus remained composed as he executed the second move of the starfall technique, its power far surpassing the first. The Horse Beheading Blade seemed to transform into nine blades, striking the sword net.
Boom!
The sword net shattered partially under the assault. Lucas's smile vanished, replaced by a face full of rage. As a top level core disciple of Raging Wave Valley, his sword net was nearly broken by a seemingly crippled blade cultivator.
If word got out, wouldn't his reputation be ruined?
"Indeed, blade cultivator is exceptional, but you're just a crippled practitioner. How can you contend with me? Now, it's time for you to die. You should be proud to die by my hand."
Lucas's sword vanished, replaced by an immensely powerful sword radiance. The radiance split open, turning into a dense rain of swords sweeping towards Titus.
The sword rain, dragon-like, rolled forward with immense power.
In an instant, Titus was engulfed in the sword rain.
Lucas smirked coldly. This sword rain was his proud technique, having previously claimed the lives of many. Titus was neither the first nor the last.
Suddenly!
Titus's figure emerged in the midst of the sword rain, which, instead of shredding him, was continuously absorbed by him.
What...
Lucas's smile froze, feeling a suffocating sense of impending death.
Having absorbed all the sword rain, Titus made his move.
One slash!
Just a simple, straightforward cut.
Without any flamboyance or technique, just an ordinary slash, yet this strike caused a bizarre distortion in the void.
It was a terrifyingly powerful slash.
Lucas's eyes widened in terror, for in his view, the blade became infinitely large, unavoidable, leaving him no choice but to watch as it descended.
The blade's force passed through, leaving Lucas petrified, a white line appearing on his forehead, extending down to his abdomen.
The essence of the blade...
Lucas stared at Titus in disbelief, his remaining consciousness filled with incredulity. This slash contained the fearsome essence of the blade, something only a blade cultivator master could possess.
