With a crisp "snap!"
Naomi was sent flying into the air by a slap, tumbling several times before hitting the ground.
Her face, which had undergone more than a dozen plastic surgeries, instantly burst open, becoming a bloody mess.
The people around screamed in shock, scared half to death.
In their eyes, it should have been Atius kneeling and apologizing, but they never expected Atius to dare to strike someone!
A wealthy lady who knew Naomi immediately took out her phone to notify Naomi's husband, who was also the president of the Wimston Province Jewelry Association, Ellison.
The saleswoman's face went pale, and she pointed at Atius with trembling fingers, her voice changing tone, "You're done for, do you know who Ms. Hudson's husband is?!"
Atius looked at her coldly, "I don't need to know who her husband is. All I know is, if you dare to say one more word, I'll have you lying on the ground like a dead dog!"
Naomi had already fainted, blood constantly seeping from her mangled face, looking extremely horrifying.
Atius spoke without expression, "Hitting someone as presumptuous as you is a disgrace to me."
"But I want my daughter to understand that anyone who dares to tarnish our dignity, should be taught what the bottom line is with a slap!"
Atius glanced at the barely breathing Naomi and said coldly, "You should feel lucky, if my daughter wasn't here, I would have taken your life!"
Nidawi, resting on Atius's shoulder, showed a look of half understanding.
"Daddy, mommy said that hitting people is a very bad thing."
Atius nodded, "But Nidawi, you must remember, some who look like people, are not really human."
Suddenly, a cold snort came from outside the door, "Who are you saying isn't human?!"
Everyone turned to look at the staircase entrance, and saw an old man in a maroon Tang Suit furiously walking down the stairs.
Behind the old man, followed two burly men wearing sunglasses, exuding a murderous aura.
Atius smiled coldly, "Ellison, is it?"
Ellison, only as tall as Atius's shoulder, looked up at Atius with a frosty face, "Since you know who I am, how dare you hit my wife! I think you're tired of living."
Atius looked at Ellison expressionlessly and nodded, "You're not exactly human either, and talking to you is a waste of my time."
"Since you say I'm tired of living, go ahead and make your move."
Ellison's eyes narrowed, and his deliberately black-dyed hair trembled with anger, "Since you're asking for death, I'll satisfy you!"
With a wave of his hand, one of his bodyguards stepped forward.
The man sneered, and without warning, threw a punch at Atius.
In his view, an ordinary person like Atius was destined to be sent flying like the sandbags he trained with, with just one punch!
"Bang!"
A loud explosion made everyone shudder.
The bodyguard who struck at Atius had a look of terror on his face. His fist hadn't even touched Atius when it suddenly exploded into a mess of flesh and bone, shockingly exposed to the air.
Atius covered Nidawi's eyes and said coldly, "You've only managed to cultivate a trace of true qi, not even stepping into the realm of hidden strength, and you dare to make a fool of yourself!"
"If you don't want to die, scram!"
The bodyguard knelt on the ground, trembling, knocked his head on the ground three times, then clutched his broken wrist and fled without looking back.
"Trash!" Ellison cursed and shouted at the other bodyguard, "What are you waiting for? Get him!"
The second bodyguard, pale-faced, walked up to Atius, then knelt down on his knees, "Senior, please spare my life, may I... roll away too?"
Atius nodded, and the man scrambled away.
Ellison's face grew uglier.
As the president of the Wimston Province Jewelry Association, apart from a few major families in the provincial city, no one dared to challenge his authority.
Just then, a middle-aged man in his fifties came downstairs.
The middle-aged man was well-dressed, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, his hair meticulously combed, looking scholarly and stable.
Seeing this man, the furious Ellison quickly called out, "Domingo, this little brat hit my wife, and this is your territory, you can't just ignore this, right?"
Domingo frowned, glanced at the bloodstains on the floor, and the Naomi lying on the ground like a dead dog, then instructed the saleswomen beside him, "Take Ms. Hudson to the hospital, and then clean up the bloodstains immediately."
Saying this, Domingo walked over, looked at the frantic Ellison, then turned to Atius, "Little brother, can you do me a favor and let today's incident slide?"
"What!" Ellison was stunned, staring and shouting, "Domingo, have you gone mad?"
"This kid hit my wife, and I want his life to compensate!"
Domingo's frown deepened, "Mr. Zimmer, take my advice, apologize properly, and you might save your life."
Ellison laughed coldly, "Fine, Domingo, I see now, this kid is related to you, isn't he? Could it be he's your illegitimate child?"
Domingo, without warning, raised his hand and slapped Ellison hard.
"If it weren't for being here, I wouldn't care whether you live or die."
Ellison, holding his face, had eyes full of malice and coldness, "Good, I'll remember today's grudge!"
"If something happens to your family later, don't come begging to me!"
After saying that, Ellison kicked aside the saleswomen, helped Naomi up, and walked towards the door.
Atius spoke without expression, "Did I let you go?"
Ellison turned back, hysterically shouting, "What more do you want!"
"I'm standing right here, do you dare to kill me?!"
Seeing Atius remain silent, Ellison sneered, "Wait and see, I'll make you pay!"
After speaking, Ellison strode out, hailed a taxi, and headed to the hospital.
The taxi driver floored the gas pedal and sped away, even sticking his hand out the window, giving Atius an 'OK' gesture.
Atius slowly shook his head, "It was a matter that could have been resolved with an apology, yet you chose to stake your life."
Domingo's gaze sharpened, "That's not the direction to the hospital, there's something wrong with that taxi driver."
Atius nodded expressionlessly, "My subordinates being mischievous, wanting to vent for me, I'll reprimand them later."
Domingo fell silent for a moment, then turned and pointed at the saleswoman who had insulted Atius, speaking coldly, "Destiny Jewelry Store doesn't employ people like you, go settle your wages, and never appear in any Destiny store again!"
The saleswoman collapsed on the floor, and was thrown out of the store by the security guard standing by.
Domingo looked at Atius again, speaking in a deep voice, "Let's talk upstairs."
Atius nodded, carrying Nidawi up the stairs.
The other customers also realized that the man carrying the child was a low-key big shot, the kind that even Domingo treated with respect.
Upstairs.
Domingo invited Atius to sit on the couch, then brewed a pot of tea before coming back to sit opposite Atius, and slowly asked, "Ellison is arrogant, but he didn't deserve to lose his life, right?"
Atius, while playing a clapping game with Nidawi, chuckled, "Master Colter is compassionate, but he threatened your family, and yet you still pity him."
"I'm different. A man of the martial world lives by his passions and resentments."
"Besides, I wasn't the one who acted."
Domingo frowned slightly, "You can call your men and ask them to stop."
Atius shook his head, "Instead of making a call, isn't it better to spend more time playing with my daughter?"
Domingo was speechless.
"Master Colter, I came to see you today to ask for your help in repairing a necklace," Atius changed the subject, getting straight to the point, "My people say that in the entire Red Dragon Kingdom, only you can repair it."
Domingo shook his head slightly, "There are always people better than me, many master jewelers more skilled."
Atius hmm’ed, reached into his pocket, and pulled out the 'Heart of the Galaxy' broken into two pieces and placed it on the table.
Domingo only glanced at it before shaking his head, "Please leave, sir."
Atius frowned slightly, "Can't repair it?"
Domingo's eyes flashed with anger, "Even if you are an Earth Rank master, you can't bring me a fake necklace to repair."
"This is a matter of a jeweler's dignity!"
Atius smiled, "Master Colter, take another look, this 'Heart of the Galaxy' isn't a replica."
Domingo snorted coldly, "The 'Heart of the Galaxy' is a world-renowned masterpiece by the jeweler Paloma, which took thirty years to complete, with cutting-edge craftsmanship and unique setting techniques."
"The 'Heart of the Galaxy' is a priceless treasure, secretly kept in the Pikins Kingdom national museum."
Atius nodded, "Yes, indeed I purchased it from the Pikins Kingdom royal family."
Domingo stood up abruptly, turning his back to Atius, "Goodbye, no escort needed."
Atius looked baffled, "Master Colter, can't you take a closer look?"
But Domingo didn't answer.
Helplessly, Atius had to take out his phone and dial a number.
"Hello?"
"Princess Mary, this is Atius Seymour."
"Oh my gosh! Seymour! Is that really you?" Princess Mary of the Pikins Kingdom exclaimed, "You finally called me, do you know, I think about you every day."
Atius, "..."
"It's like this, the 'Heart of the Galaxy' accidentally broke..."
"If it's broken, it's broken," Princess Mary's voice became even more excited, "If you like, I'll send you my mother's crown."
Atius fell silent for two seconds, then decisively hung up the phone.
Domingo was already too shocked to speak.
He visited Pikins Kingdom last year to meet his teacher and heard Princess Mary's speech in person.
He was certain that the person who had just spoken to Atius on the phone was the holy Princess Mary of the Pikins Kingdom.
But what did he just hear?
The Princess Mary, known as the most beautiful princess of Pikins Kingdom, seemed to be deeply infatuated with the low-key father in front of him?
