Chapter 13: Let me go

The thin sheets pulled up by the people downstairs could not stop her from falling, and her body was lifted quickly that she ended up falling down like a broken doll, with her eyes closed. The blood gradually expanded in Nathan's eyes, which arose a storm in his heart. He looked at her, and the pupils suddenly tightened in the dark. His eyes were wide open and he was shocked clearly. His whole body kept rigid and he was even afraid to move. Suddenly, the air was filled with coldness, which made everyone shiver unconsciously. The inexplicable cool froze the water in the air. Every time he breathed, the broken ice seemed to get into his lung and broken him into pieces. He stood there still, as if he were a scripture made by stone. Without her, he seemed to be dead. "Hhh, finally, she is dead now. Great！It’s so great. She's nearly a disgrace to me when she's alive.” Roy laughed, and the laughter was so wild and crazy. He ran to the edge of the building , reached out his hands and pointed to Joyce:” Nathan, can you see that?, she's dead. Now I killed her, you should be happy now, right?" He laughed louder and louder and he even started to shiver. At that time, he really acted like a mad man. Seeing Nathan sad, he should have been happy. But now he felt some pain out of nowhere. He felt that his heart had been ripped into pieces. His pain expressed itself step by step. "Nathan, are you all right?"Rose rushed up suddenly and grabbed Nathan's arm. The tone was full of worry, but deep inside, she was happy for everything that had happened to Joyce. Nathan finally came back to his mind. He pushed her away, and stumbled downstairs rapidly. As Nathan rushed out of the stairwell, the ambulance came and stopped at the gate. Just when he rushed out of the building, the ambulance was started and began to get Joyce to the emergency room with its alarm on. The sound of the ambulance made him quite uncomfortable. He made several steps towards the car parked beside. He reached in his pocket for the car key and then put it in the lock. He tried to pull the door but he failed. He was so angry and anxious that he kicked on the tire hard. He breathed out a deep breath. Then he closed his eyes which were already sore, and tried to get Joyce's blood-soaked look out of his head. This woman ,who was mindful was afraid of death died for a small bastard! How could she do that? Rose rushed over from the other side, and blocked the door with her body. She raised her head and looked at him with a pair of restless eyes: "Nathan, where are you going?" "Let me go." He said in a cold tone and looked straightly at her eyes which were red. He was cold all over the body which was like a glacier. She even felt some chill. She straightened her back, raised her chin and confronted him: "She is Roy's woman, why are you so nervous? Nathan, I'm your fiancee.” " Get out of here!” He pushed her so hard that she could barely stand stably. By this time he had already opened the door, and his long figure got into the car. He started the car and pressed the accelerator, which made Rose confused .She stared at him with her eyes wide open. She took a deep breath, rushed forward, stretched out her arms in front of the car and then she shouted: "Nathan, I don't want you to go after her." He was her fiancé, and she didn’t allow her men to lose their minds for another women. She raised her head, bit her lips, and stared at the man in the car for quite a moment . Nathan's eyebrows slightly throbbed, which was really scary. His whole body was like a glacier at that time, which could even kill people. His temples stretched fast .His eyes were red and were full of anger. His long and slim fingers steered the steering wheel, but the movement of his feet didn't stop. He stepped on the accelerator and rushed forward ,with a huge sound hovering in the air. Rose's pupil tightened sharply and retreated quickly. Then she fell to the ground as her foot slipped suddenly. The black car was like an arrow which passed by her at an extreme speed. If she hadn't retreated in time, she would be dead then. With her hands clasped into fists, she said angrily: "Joyce, you bitch, go to hell！Nathan, you'll regret for what you had done to me.”
