Jake's POV - The sun is setting and the darkness invites itself into the room through the blinds. I stand up and walk over to them, blocking out the night. Ivory left a few hours ago and I'm left alone with nothing but the steady beeps. I shut my eyes and place my forehead against the wall, breathing deeply.
