Chapter 34

GABRIEL I switched the engine on and drove, pocketing the bracelet inside my trousers. The road seems to go on forever and I arrived at the hospital, parking in a space next to the doors. I entered the hospital and wearily look around, not knowing where I shall go. I was about to call my lawyer for the contract details when the door to my right opened, "Mr. West, I'm glad you're back." The doctor who looks a lot like Victoria smiled at me yet I can almost see the way she struggled not to sneer....
