While answering Ximena's questions evasively, the contact texted Kayden. Kayden received the message and glanced at its content. His lips twitched in exasperation. She was making phone calls behind his back in the middle of the night—clearly, she was cheating on him. He chuckled bitterly. After all, he was the one impersonating the mysterious friend.
