Isabella listened to Briella and glanced at Maxwell. Her face remained expressionless, but she knew Maxwell wasn't afraid of her.  She didn't know why Maxwell kept his head down, but it certainly wasn't out of fear. Jada brought in the food, placed it in front of Isabella, and then got a portion for herself.
