The traffickers thought Ian would let them off, but to their shock, he started breaking their legs again.  He kept at it until everyone had both legs broken, and even broke Nathan's other leg. Only then did Ian pause briefly.  Some of the traffickers couldn't stand the pain of having both legs broken and passed out.  Only Lily, knocked out by the leather ball, didn't get beaten by Ian.
