Ariel never imagined that, just as Jorwick was about to launch a major crackdown on crime and with the whole city on high alert, her enemies would actually have the nerve to send assassins after her.  Over a hundred companies were bidding for the Weste redevelopment, but only three — including hers —really had a shot at winning.
