Remy was at a loss for words.
In all his years of doing business, he'd never seen Nash run a clinic like this before.
It was wild.
"Ahem, honey, maybe we should buy some medicine from Nash? It's been years since we've, you know... done that."
Remy was starting to get curious because of the taxi drivers shouting outside.
"Buy my ass!"
"You think that brat's medicine is safe? What if it screws up your private part?" Margo shot Remy a fierce glare.
Remy felt a little hurt, but he was still worried.
That hemorrhoid incident still haunted him.
Out front, the taxi drivers kept shouting, while Nash was busy pouring them water, clearly having the time of his life.
Just then, a White Porsche Cayenne rolled up with two stunning women inside.
One was Jessie, and the other was her best friend, Natalie.
Natalie was a flight attendant, which added to her charm.
"Jessie, are you seriously going to see him?" Natalie asked, putting on lipstick and glancing at Jessie behind the wheel.
Jessie nodded.
"He's had it tough. Besides, I was the one who got him into this in the first place."
"So what? Didn't you already promise him a hundred thousand bucks as compensation?"
"For someone running a dumpy little clinic, it'd take him years of scrimping and saving to make that amount."
Natalie was being realistic.
Jessie sighed. "Yeah, but he's still my husband currently."
"Husband, my ass! Jessie, I mean this as your friend, but why the hell did you even agree to a fake marriage with him? Even for the Ryder family back in Ermethia, you didn't have to do this to yourself."
Jessie went quiet.
Besides her parents and Natalie, no one else knew about her fake marriage to Nash.
It was all because of the Ryder family back in Ermethia.
People in Nytherea thought the Ryder family was average, but they had no idea the Ryder family in Ermethia was prominent.
Jessie's family was only a branch.
Jessie just sighed and said nothing more.
"Jessie, your only mistake is being too kind-hearted. If it were me, I would've kicked that guy out long ago!" Natalie stated.
Jessie didn't say anything.
The two of them drove over to Nash's clinic.
Since it was Saturday, Jessie wasn't working at Nytherea Central Hospital and had gone shopping with Natalie instead.
While they were out, Jessie picked up some daily necessities for Nash.
She always felt a bit guilty about him.
As they turned the corner, Jessie suddenly noticed a bunch of taxis parked outside Nash's clinic.
She frowned.
What the heck was going on? Why so many cabs? Why were all those people gathered there?
She pulled over to the side of the road and walked over with Natalie.
"What's going on up ahead?"
"Why are there so many people?"
Natalie got out of the car and looked curiously at the crowd in front of the clinic.
Jessie shook her head, holding a grocery bag with the stuff she'd bought for Nash.
"Let's go check it out."
The two approached.
At the entrance, Armando and his taxi buddies were shouting out words.
"Hey, sir, wanna buy some medicine? This stuff will make you feel young and strong again!"
"Ma'am, how about some medicine? I swear, this stuff is magic. It'll make you feel ten years younger!"
"Hey, kid, want some medicine? You'll ace every test, and one day you'll get into Adral University for sure!"
The taxi drivers were going all out to hype up Nash's clinic, but honestly, their words weren't convincing.
Most people walking by probably thought they were crazy.
Jessie and Natalie walked up.
When they heard Armando and the others promoting the medicine, they were floored.
"These taxi drivers are promoting Nash's medicine?" Jessie was stunned.
"Oh my god, what are these guys even talking about?"
"That's so gross!"
"Jessie, this isn't Nash's clinic, is it?" Natalie's eyes went wide.
Jessie's face went cold.
She'd come over with good intentions, but she never thought Nash would have these sketchy taxi drivers out front promoting medicine.
As a well-known doctor at Nytherea Central Hospital, Jessie wasn't buying any of the crap.
She knew such medicine didn't exist.
To her, this was straight-up scamming patients.
Just then, Armando and his buddies finally noticed Jessie and Natalie.
Their beauty blew them away.
Jessie was drop-dead gorgeous. Even Natalie couldn't compete standing next to her.
Jessie wore a fitted casual suit, her long black hair down, and her face was so stunning it could make anyone jealous.
Plus, her 5'8" figure, she was the definition of a boss lady.
Natalie, on the other hand, wore a dress that showed off her curves.
"Hey ladies, wanna buy some medicine?"
"I'm telling you, this stuff will make you even prettier!"
"Or maybe get some for your boyfriend or husband!"
As Armando and the taxi drivers tried to promote the medicine to Jessie, she just shot them a cold look and said, "Scram."
Then she marched straight into Nash's clinic.
Inside, Nash was happily counting the cash he'd made over the past few days.
Just then, the two women walked in.
"Who's there? Here to buy medicine?"
The lighting inside wasn't great, so Nash didn't recognize Jessie right away.
But when Jessie saw him counting a fat stack of bills, she suddenly felt a wave of anger.
"Nash, we need to talk."
