"Hey, beautiful, can you hurry up? Just take off your pants and let's make this quick."
In Ninos Prison, down in Chiton's Southern Wilderness, Levi Casson looked impatiently at the young woman in front of him, who could barely stand without her maid's help.
She was stunning-long hair like a waterfall, red lips, perfect teeth. Her arched brows gave her a strong, almost heroic vibe, like she could go toe-to-toe with any guy.
"How dare you! Do you even know who my lady is? Say something like that again and I'll cut out your tongue!" the maid snapped.
"Cut out my tongue? That's a laugh! No one's born yet who could pull that off. And don't forget, you're the ones who need me. If you don't want the antidote, go find someone else!"
Levi waved them off and turned to leave, but the warden, Harold, blocked his way at the door.
"Lordling, please don't be upset. You're the only one who can cure Ms. Michelle's poisoning. I'm begging you; help us," Harold pleaded.
It wasn't every day you saw a warden lowering himself to ask a prisoner for help. But there was a reason: three years ago, Levi had landed in Ninos Prison for assault, and there he met someone extraordinary.
An old man who called himself the Supreme Ascendant came to the prison just to refine a mysterious "Ninos Divine Stone" no one had ever seen. The other inmates thought he was crazy and just ignored him.
After Levi was locked up, the old man noticed his talent and took him on as a student, teaching him everything he knew-medicine, cultivation, all kinds of ancient mystical arts.
Since then, even though Levi was still in prison, he was living large; everyone respected him. With a master like the Supreme Ascendant, the other inmates started calling Levi the "Lordling."
"Come on, Harold, today's my big day-I'm finally getting out. I already agreed to help, as a favor to you. If she won't cooperate, do you really expect me to beg?" Levi said, annoyed.
"That's not what I meant. Please wait a moment, Lordling. I'll speak with Ms. Michelle," Harold hurried over and whispered something to the young woman.
After thinking it over, the young woman reluctantly nodded.
"You all go out. I want to talk to Dr. Casson alone."
"Okay."
Harold and the maid left the room. The young woman sat on the edge of the bed, sweating from the pain, unable to say a word.
The wound was on her butt.
"Quit toughing it out and lie down. From what Harold said, it looks like you were bitten by a venomous snake, probably one bred by the Five Poisons Sect from Mireland."
"If we don't get the venom out fast, best case you'll end up paralyzed and stuck in a wheelchair for life. Worst case, you're dead."
"You're lucky you found me, so quit stalling and do what I say."
As Levi spoke, the poison kicked in again, and even though her hands were at her waist, she still hesitated.
"You know, patients shouldn't be shy with their doctor," Levi said, dead serious.
Finally, she gave in, pulling down her pants and then her lace underwear.
Levi sat nearby, trying to keep a straight face, but inside he was burning up. No normal guy could see something like this and not react.
Her round, firm butt, with those toned lines, was seriously tempting.
But just as Levi's mind started to wander, her next words snapped him right back to reality.
"My name's Michelle Lidyard. Remember it! If you fix me up, I'll make it worth your while. But if you try anything, I swear you'll regret it!" she warned, eyes cold.
"Please, give me some credit. I'm no saint, but I don't take advantage of people when they're down," Levi said with a smirk.
Michelle didn't say anything else, but she still watched him warily.
"This might sting a little, so hang in there."
Reluctantly, Levi tore his eyes away and took out some silver needles. He stuck them into a few acupuncture points, and before long, the poisonous blood spurted out fast.
It was seriously impressive.
"Mmm." Michelle bit the pillow, toughing it out without making a sound.
A few minutes later, when the blood turned bright red, Levi pulled out the needles and carefully dabbed some ointment on the wound. He couldn't help but notice how nice it felt.
"You're all set. You can get up now," Levi said.
"That was quick!"
Michelle got up fast, got dressed, and realized that, except for some swelling and soreness, she felt totally fine.
She looked at Levi differently now; his medical skills were no joke.
"Dr. Casson, I owe you one. How can I repay you?" Michelle asked, still a bit guarded.
She wasn't short on cash, but she was worried he'd say something like "marry me."
But Michelle was overthinking it.
Levi waved her off. "No need. Today's my release day. Since you're good, go ahead and leave. I need to pack up."
With that, Levi turned and walked out.
Michelle was stunned.
"Miss, are you okay?" the maid asked as she came in.
Michelle nodded.
"Wow, who knew he was actually that good," the maid said, surprised.
But Harold didn't seem surprised at all.
"Thank you, Harold. Please give this card to Dr. Casson, and let him know if he ever needs anything, he can come to me," Michelle said, handing him a card.
"You got it." Harold nodded.
Michelle and her maid left Ninos Prison together.
Just thinking about that deadly snake made both of them shudder.
"Miss, maybe you should just let it go. Twenty years ago, the Casson family got wiped out by some big shot. Your dad got badly hurt by a mystery man, and now you've almost been killed by a snake. Whoever's behind this is clearly warning us to back off," the maid said.
"The more they try to stop me, the more I want to get to the bottom of this. Mr. Casson and my dad were like brothers. I have to get justice for their family!"
"Besides, our families were engaged to each other. When the Casson family was destroyed, Mr. Casson's kid got away with a servant."
"My dad's been worried about that kid for years. I have to find him and bring him home!"
Michelle's eyes were full of determination.
"Mr. Casson's kid is your fiancé, right? What if you find him and he's not good enough for you, but your dad still makes you marry him?" the maid said, worried.
"Well... we'll cross that bridge when we come to it." Michelle frowned, not sure what to do.
Right then, she couldn't help but think of Levi-so young, but already an amazing doctor, and even the toughest guys in Ninos Prison listened to him. And, honestly, he was pretty good-looking too.
Thinking about having to pull down her pants for him, Michelle's face turned bright red.
"If Mr. Casson's kid is as talented as he is, that'd be perfect. Even if we're not together, at least my dad would be happy..." Michelle thought.
"Miss, where are we going now?" the maid asked.
"To Floriaville. Mr. Webberlye invited us, so I should at least show up."

"God of Death sends his congrats to the Lordling on getting out."
"King of the Night congratulates the Lordling on getting out."
"Bloomthief congratulates the Lordling on getting out."
"Lord Myrion congratulates the Lordling on getting out."
As Levi rolled his suitcase down the hall, inmates all around called out congratulations.
"Heh, don't celebrate just yet. Harold's my buddy-if he tells me any of you are acting up, I'll come right back and have a little chat with you," Levi said, flashing a cold grin. He knew what they were really thinking.
"No way, man." The prisoners all shrank back, terrified.
Nobody knew better than they just how scary Levi could be.
Everyone here was a hardened criminal. In the outside world, they were big shots!
Levi was framed and ended up here, but now he was actually thankful for it-otherwise, he'd never have learned all these skills.
"Alright, Harold, I'm heading out. If you ever need help, just give me a call," Levi said.
"Safe travels, Lordling. I already booked your ticket back to Floriaville. Oh, and here's Ms. Michelle's card-she wanted you to have it," Harold said.
Levi didn't bother asking who Michelle really was-he just stuffed the card in his pocket and headed home.
"I'm gonna give you all the best life," Levi said to his family photo, eyes full of determination.
He also remembered his master's words-keep training hard, and in two months, head to Thunder Island for the opportunity his master left him.
Five hours later, Levi arrived in Floriaville, Jorkville. It was a pretty little city, and as night fell, the lights started coming on everywhere.
Levi walked down familiar streets, hearing all the vendors shouting to sell their stuff.
The night market snacks were the best part of this street.
But Levi wasn't in the mood to stop. He just wanted to get home to see his family.
"Dad, Mom, Mila, are you all okay?"
But before he got far, he heard a loud crash up ahead-a woman's food stall had just been knocked over!
And now, a bunch of thugs were hassling her, getting handsy.
"Please, just let me go. My dad's in the hospital and I need the money-I can't pay you protection money," the woman begged, near tears.
"Heh, can't pay? No problem. Just spend the night with us instead," the leader sneered.
"No! Davis, please, I'm begging you, just let me go..." the woman cried, falling to her knees.
But the thugs weren't about to let her go-they tried to drag her off, and nobody in the crowd dared step in.
Just then, a cold voice came from behind the thugs.
"Let go of my sister!"
