Sullivan flinched back two steps at my sudden move, and Bernard charged at me with two of his guys in tow.
"Fuck." Bernard barked it, threw his forearm up to block the brick I was bringing down.

The brick smashed into his arm. The other two came at me from left and right, boots lashing out.
I had no real experience fighting. One against three was a losing game. In a few heartbeats, they had me on the asphalt, pinning me, fists and feet thudding into me.
