Alex Hayde stopped eavesdropping. Eden and Josephine had slipped into the room, and all he could do was picture the scene: heat, heady pleasure, a long, satisfied sigh after. He himself had gotten nothing out of it-and even blown fifty bucks for the privilege. He cursed his own stupidity.
