Chapter 60: Had Enough

"Honey, please, let's go home. Whatever you want me to do at home, I'll do it. I've had enough. Don't make me do anything this twisted anymore." Tears streamed down Marlee Casson's face as she begged. In a flash, Ezra Warth's hand shot up, ready to slap her. Marlee squeezed her eyes shut in fright. Catching that through the crack in the door jolted me. Fury surged. I shoved the door wide and barked, "Ezra, what do you think you're doing?" Both of them looked over at me. Ezra's hand froze midair....
