Lately, all I could think about was how to sleep with Billy's wife next door. I had a heat in me I couldn't shake, and nothing I did made it go away.
My name is Gideon Warren, twenty-four, fresh out of school. I'm the only doctor in Royphia Village. Billy, who lived next to the clinic, had married a stunning beauty who made every man in Royphia Village green with envy.
I saw Billy's wife, Melissa, every day. Her eyes were bright and clear. Her skin was so dewy it looked like it would bead at a touch. She had curves that could make any man lose his head.
She was older than I was. We all called her Melissa. I was fair-skinned and the best-educated guy around, and I had a way with words. In just a few days, I had grown friendly with Melissa.
Every waking minute, I imagined peeling her clothes, her inviting body beneath mine. The thought alone had me burning up. Billy didn't appreciate what he had. He spent his days on the farm, leaving Melissa alone at home.
Even if he didn't treasure her, all I could do was watch her through the window and sneak looks at her sexy curves. It killed me, and I cursed Billy's dumb luck.
I never thought that dumb luck would come my way. In Royphia Village, there was only one courier pickup point at the clinic, so everything got stacked there.
One day, when the packages came in, Melissa showed up to pick hers up.
"Gideon, could you grab my package?" she asked, her smile softening. She was curvy, sweet as a ripe peach. I almost wanted a bite.
Maybe it was my imagination, but she seemed shy. When she caught my hungry stare, her face burned even redder. She turned her head and urged, "Hurry up, I'm in a rush."
She didn't dislike me, then. The thought made me giddy. I found her package, but when I peeled off the shipping label, I accidentally pulled the tape with it.
I was about to apologize when she snatched at the box in a flurry. I didn't let go fast enough. We tugged, the box slipped, and it hit the floor. Something inside tumbled out and rolled on the floor.
It was a sleek little box with a picture of a long, intimidating toy on the cover. It was a dildo.
I stared at Melissa, stunned. I hadn't expected a woman who usually blushed at every word to buy a dildo. I imagined those pale hands of hers working that thing as she pleasured herself, her cheeks blazing, a soft hum rising from her throat. My blood boiled and surged in an instant.
Melissa turned beet red. Exposed like this, she looked like she wanted the floor to swallow her whole. She scooped up the dildo, shoved it back into the box, and fled.
Her curvy figure vanished from sight. I just stood there buzzing, heart pounding. If Billy couldn't keep her satisfied, that meant I had a shot.
At one minute past midnight, someone pounded on the clinic door.
I got up and opened it. Melissa stood there, flushed and flustered. She wore a nightgown with no bra beneath. Her pale curves flashed in and out with each breath. A wave of heat hit me. My heart was thumping.
I stepped aside quickly and asked as gently as I could, "Melissa, it's so late. Is something wrong?"
"Gideon, I..." She faltered, cheeks burning, the words stuck in her throat. Then she turned, slid the lock on the clinic door, and looked back at me. Her eyes were glossy with a hint of tears.
