Chapter 14: An Apology

When Harley heard Romeo speak, she could even detect a hint of pleading in his voice.  He looked determined not to let the matter go unless she agreed. The more anxious Romeo became, the more curious Harley was about Ramon.  Still, if this would resolve things, she had no objection. "I'd appreciate your help, Mr. Romeo," Harley said politely. "No trouble at all," Romeo replied quickly. "This happened because I didn't keep my people in line. I owe Ms. Ashby an apology." He hurried to apologize....
