Chapter 18: A Grisly Sight

After hanging up, Diego summoned a lackey to his office.  "Luca, didn't you say you've got a buddy who's good with his fists? Have him break a security guard's legs. I'll pay you ten grand." He lit a cigarette. Jason paid him fifty grand. A middleman's gotta take his cut. "Got it, boss. I'll reach out. No clue where he's hiding lately," Luca said, nodding.  More work just landed in his lap. Ten grand for the hitter, a few grand skimmed for himself. Just thinking about it made Luca's heart...
