Hugh Zorn came in hot, sporting a raging hard-on. He climbed onto the bed, scooped Daisy Warth into his arms, planted hurried kisses here and there, and asked, "Honey, what did Dr. Zimmerman next door say today?"
Daisy didn't look well, and Hugh was acting much more timid than usual.
"I have to go again tomorrow. He wants you to go in person, but you're too embarrassed to show up, so it's hard for him to make a diagnosis," Daisy said.
"Oh? So what did Dr. Zimmerman say?" Hugh blurted. Either way, he was too embarrassed to go himself.
"He told me to come back tomorrow, and earlier. Honestly, you goof, he's trying to keep this just between us. When there are people around, he can't exactly ask anything." Daisy let out a helpless sigh.
If Leonard Zimmerman had said it was all Hugh's fault, Daisy wouldn't have been so nice about it. She would've dragged him by the ear straight to the clinic-unless Hugh never wanted kids for the rest of his life.
The trouble was, Daisy herself might be the one with the issue. In that case, she couldn't blow up. She could only get herself treated quietly first. She'd already made up her mind: tomorrow she'd steel herself, let Dr. Zimmerman give her a full exam, then get the right treatment. If she got better soon, she'd feel more at ease.
"So, what's he like?" Hugh asked, his hand kneading Daisy's full breast, the soft flesh molding beneath his fingers.
"He's a good, compassionate doctor. He kept reassuring me yesterday. He's a doctor! You jerk, what are you implying?" Daisy shot Hugh a glare and snapped the words out.
The nerve of him to suspect her! If she really wanted to cheat, it would only take a word; there were plenty of men dying to sleep with her. Leonard Zimmerman, too, had come in high spirits and left disappointed. What the hell? We had a great time yesterday-so why nothing tonight?
"No, no, I don't mean anything. I'm just worried someone might take advantage of you. So, are we doing it tonight?" Hugh said, getting excited again, trying to steer clear of anything that might kill the mood.
Hugh wasn't the only one getting worked up; on the other side of the wall, Leonard Zimmerman was getting worked up too.
Hugh's endurance was terrible-he came before he was even inside, and the kicker was, he wanted it every single day. It probably had to do with how fast he finished. He'd finish in seconds and still couldn't rein himself in. What a piece of work.
Daisy rolled over without a word. Feeling doused with cold water, Hugh sagged, lay listlessly on the edge of the bed, then pulled Daisy against his chest. He gingerly humped against her backside.
Soon enough, Hugh shuddered all over. Mortified, he grabbed some tissues from the nightstand, wiped off the mess on her, then went to the bathroom to clean up.
Daisy let out a long, wistful sigh. Same as always-one of them wanted it, the other just wasn't there.
When Hugh finished washing up, he came back in a foul mood, climbed into bed without a word, and didn't touch Daisy at all. Before he finished, he was all lust; afterward, he was holy as a monk.
Leaning against the wall, Leonard Zimmerman couldn't calm down. Daisy was a woman with ordinary bodily needs, and her husband never satisfied her. Could he seize the opportunity and make a move? The thought took root and wouldn't leave him alone; he tossed and turned half the night, unable to sleep.
The next morning, Leonard, bleary-eyed, lifted the roll-up door of his clinic. When it was halfway up, he spotted a petite figure outside in a pink dress, black stockings, and red high heels.
At the sight of those endless legs, a faint feminine scent drifted over. He sprang hard in his shorts and was instantly wide awake.
"You don't have to open the door all the way, Dr. Zimmerman. See me first, then you can open up," Daisy said, clutching a pink handbag. "Sorry to take up your time."
Leonard had figured Daisy might show up today, but hadn't expected her this early. It was barely past six, and most of the village hadn't even gotten up yet. He had no idea how long she'd been waiting.
He didn't bother with formalities. Bracing the door with one hand, he let Daisy slip inside, then lowered it with care.
"Dr. Zimmerman, I'm really sorry to bother you so early. Coming this early won't get in the way of your day," Daisy said. She'd done her homework; Mondays tended to be slow. On other days, even if there were no patients, someone always came to chat. Heidi Casson, the widow, dropped by all the time.
Leonard swallowed. Her showing up this early meant she was ready for a full workup. At the thought of her flawless figure, he grew impatient, itching to tear off her clothes and kiss her all over. Especially with those black stockings hugging her long legs, she was irresistible.
