Byron gave Louie a cool, flat look and didn't bother to respond. Louie pressed on. "I hear you've done time. Hmph. With your record, you ought to appreciate the job you've got and not get carried away." Byron's gaze sharpened. "My life is none of your business. Just do your job and quit looking for trouble."
