Walker was busy running a second round of tests on Adrian Lapwood when Shane Yale had Uriel Helwick lie down on the attendant's cot and began treatment. He drew out a silver needle and sank it into the Heartgate Nexus at the center of the chest. A strange scene unfolded at once. Uriel's vigor, so full a moment ago, drained away in a breath.
