Chapter 112: A Plea

Kevin Letherdale shifted awkwardly to the side, cheeks warming. Unfortunately, they were on a single sofa chair. Maverick Helwick sat on Kevin's right, and Miss Heyland sat on his left. Maverick's body blocked him in, leaving Kevin nowhere to go. Kevin also felt too embarrassed to ask Miss Heyland to scoot over.
