Rudy Denford's heart hammered the whole way. Thankfully, Duke Jaynes never caught up. As he neared the defensive zone, Rudy slowed down. He pulled a spotless robe from his storage pouch, changed into it, then took out a Bronze Mirror and tidied himself up with quick, practiced motions.
