Julian's eyes abruptly shot open as a sharp pain erupted from his stomach. The ceiling of his bedroom at the Hayes estate came into focus, and with it, the weight of a heavy, energetic body landing squarely on his midsection.
"Good morning, brother! Morning, morning, MORNING!" Chloe shrieked, her knees digging into his ribs.
Julian groaned, the breath knocked out of him. He stared at the familiar cracks in the plaster, a wave of exhaustion washing over him that had nothing to do with sleep....
