The Al-Jawhar Room was a sprawling expanse of opulence, spanning several hundred square meters. Under the warm glow of crystal chandeliers, the Nassers sat around a massive circular table laden with delicacies that few in Al-Waha would ever taste. Beautiful waitresses in silk uniforms moved with practiced grace, pouring wine and replenishing dishes without making a sound.
