Cora locked herself in her room all day. At eight that evening, she texted Hayden, then Evan. At ten, Evan arrived at the hotel room on the third floor, following the address Cora had sent him. She'd told him she wanted to talk things through, especially their divorce. She didn't want to go back to their home, so she'd suggested meeting at the hotel.
