Night fell. Amy lay on her bed, her face tense even with her eyes closed. Her hands grasped at the air, trying to hold onto something. "Tom, come back!" "Tom! ” A gentle breeze passed through, and the fabric corner she clung to faded into nothingness. With a gasp, Amy sat up abruptly. Her fingers brushed against the cold tear streaks on her cheeks, and she broke into sobs, unable to contain herself. At six o'clock in the morning, Amy came to the gym with slightly red eyes. Mr. Bailey, still upset over yesterday’s events, punished her by assigning her the arduous task of scrubbing the marble floors until her white cloth came back spotless. She didn’t know how long she had been at it when she heard the steady approach of footsteps. She knew it was Zack, but she didn’t want to provoke him, nor did she dare to. Amy pretended to wipe the floor as if nothing had happened until the tall shadow completely enveloped her. "How does it feel? Beg me, and I might consider lifting your punishment." Zack’s deep voice resonated, calm and magnetic, yet dripping with a devilish undertone. Amy’s movements quickened, and she subtly shifted her body further away from him. However, her avoidance ignited his fury. How dare she! No woman had ever dared to ignore him like this. He squeezed her chin and forced her to lift her head, his scrutiny gaze falling straight on her delicate little face. "Answer me!" His voice was commanding, leaving no room for refusal. Amy took a deep breath, meeting his eyes with an unwavering expression. "Master Johnson, I never intended to seduce you. I just want to work as a maid, quietly and diligently. I need the money."
