I took a step forward, all the blood in my face draining away. My hands shook as I pressed them against my stomach instinctively, even though I knew there was no life in there anymore. “No one,” I croaked, “No one should know about this. How...” I trailed off, my throat going dry. The only people that were aware of this was Alaric, and his pack...the pack I fled from. I turned my eyes to Caius, seeking some kind of answer, but he was just as clueless as I was. None of this made sense....
