In the southern outskirts of Tianhai City, there lay a sprawling vacation villa, inaccessible to ordinary citizens, for it was the headquarters of the notorious Blood Wolf Squad! From the outside, it might have seemed like any other resort, save for the three-meter-high wall encircling it. However, a closer look would reveal its distinctiveness, especially the daunting security posts that would make anyone's scalp tingle.
The tallest structure in the villa, which appeared to be a chimney from the outside, was actually an observation post, constantly manned, with snipers trained abroad by the Li family lying in wait.
Modern gangs have evolved beyond their traditional domains. They were more like corporations with gangster elements. This villa operated under a strict membership system, only granting access to carefully vetted elite members to enjoy their extravagant offerings.
Here, one could squander money on pleasures like women, wine, drugs, and gambling. Everything was available, for a price.
As night fell, the villa welcomed wealthy clients. However, stringent searches were conducted at the entrance. Except for the direct descendants of the Li family, everyone had to pass through three security checkpoints. Failure to pass meant death. The vast ocean behind the villa could hide any number of bodies.
The two observers lying on the chimney felt disgruntled, envious of the bosses who were enjoying themselves in the villa while they were stuck up there, facing the chilly night breeze.
"Damn it, I wish I could rise to be a minor leader too!" grumbled one observer with yellow hair to his companion.
The other observer joked, "If you become a leader, remember to pull me up with you!"
"Don't worry, stick with me and you'll definitely benefit!" Yellow Hair Man thought to himself, pleased, wondering if he was naturally born to lead. He had just joined a few days ago and already had someone willing to follow him.
As he gazed into the night sky, dreaming of the lavish life he would lead as a boss, he was intoxicated with the idea.
"Look, a shooting star! Make a wish quickly!" Yellow Hair nudged his first follower, having heard that wishes made on shooting stars came true. His wish? To become the boss, of course!
"A shooting star?" His companion looked up skeptically, but when he saw the rapidly approaching object, he was utterly shocked, crying out, "Enemy attack! Enemy attack! Sound the alarm!"
That was no shooting star – it was clearly a long-range weapon! A rocket? A missile? Maybe even a nuclear bomb? The more he thought, the more terrified he became, frantically pressing the alarm button. The next moment, the alarm bells throughout the villa shattered the tranquility of the night.
Boom!
A loud explosion rang out as the missile, trailing a long plume of fire, finally exploded within the villa, covering a large portion of it in flames and shockwaves. The missile was relatively small in power; a larger one might have completely obliterated the villa.
"Charge!" Brandon, halfway up the hill, waved his hand, leading his men towards the villa below. They needed to end the battle quickly before the military could respond. Even with their strength, they were no match for the army.
Seeing the bullet in Alexander's palm, Brandon was incredibly shocked and quickly adjusted his plan. He decided to lead the charge personally, knowing that only by constantly facing life and death could he gain even greater strength.
"Da-da-da..." The weapons in their hands spat out tongues of fire. The gang members who survived the missile strike finally realized what was happening – their headquarters was under attack. Judging by the firepower, it must be the military.
They knew that with their crimes, falling into military hands meant certain death. They had to resist!
Bang, bang, bang...
The sound of pistols was quickly suppressed by a burst of gunfire, silencing that area instantly.
The Blood Wolf Squad's pistol supply was limited, and their heavy firepower was even scarcer. Over half of their men were injured in the missile strike. Eric Li was lucky to have survived. He was now organizing the surviving members to counterattack, determined not to let the Blood Wolf Squad fall under his watch.
After using up the last magazine, Brandon understood Alexander's words – true power was not just in firepower but in one's own strength. With no bullets left, both sides resorted to hand-to-hand combat. Facing enemies several times their number, his ten men charged without hesitation, roaring into the crowd.
"Who dares attack the Blood Wolf Squad?!" Eric Li bellowed, charging out with his four remaining war generals. Originally, he had eight, but the other four had perished in the missile strike, likely with no remains to be found.
Seeing the dozen or so fierce enemies, Eric Li realized these were not military personnel.
A real military operation wouldn't just send so few people.
"Eric Li, we've come for your life!" Brandon, filled with fighting spirit, stared down Eric Li and his four generals. He could tell Eric was a skilled fighter, and so were his men.
The Blood Wolf Squad, dominant in Tianhai, surely had formidable forces under its command.
Hearing his name called out, Eric understood who they were – the hidden force of the Xu family.
As soon as Left Hand left at night and never came back, his smart son had already guessed that the hidden force of the Xu family was definitely not small. In order to resist the Xu family's revenge, they transferred all their main forces back to the headquarters. Unfortunately, no matter how much calculations put in, they had never thought that their opponent would actually have missiles in their hands!
The cleverness of his son and the meddling of an old man had brought this disaster upon them. Now that the main forces have been eliminated, even if these people can be killed, the Blood Wolf Squad's strength would be greatly diminished, and the looming threat of the Chen family would be too much to handle.
Even if they win this battle, the Li family, having suffered heavy losses, will likely struggle to withstand the Chen family's ensuing assault. the Chen family will seize this opportunity to kick. The Chen family won't let such a chance slip away!
Without replying, Brandon yelled to his men, "Eric Li's head is mine!"
He eagerly anticipated battling a master like Eric Li. Alexander had said that only through life-and-death struggles could one gain greater strength.
With that, he threw his gun to the ground, drew a dagger strapped to his leg, and charged, blade whirling.
As one of Eric Li's generals moved to intercept him, Big Bear, a rogue-looking giant, stepped forward, pointing at the general and then at himself, coolly saying, "Your opponent is me!"
The other team members quickly picked their targets. Those who didn't get a skilled opponent vented their frustration on the lesser gang members.
In a fight to the death, there were no extra words – only the imminent battle.
"Seeking death!" Eric Li's eyes narrowed. The fighting spirit in Brandon ignited his own. He wanted to show these young men that he was not yet past his prime.
Eric wielded a large knife. Despite nearing fifty, he wielded it with fierce energy. When they clashed, sparks flew.
"Clang!" Both men were repelled by the other's strength – Brandon staggered back two steps, but Eric only one and a half. Eric laughed, his life of living on the edge had not dulled his blade. He was still a force to be reckoned with in Tianhai.
Undeterred, Brandon attacked again, his blade struck stronger, channeling all his strength into his arms. The two engaged in a fierce battle. Despite several cuts on his body, Brandon seemed oblivious to the pain, his eyes gleaming with a bloodthirsty light, determined to defeat his formidable opponent.
Big Bear, too, was in his element, battling a muscular general. Both chose to fight with raw strength, clashing fist against fist with explosive force.
Each blow forced them back, but they were undaunted.
"Again!" Big Bear's face showed a hint of madness. This raw power clash was exhilarating, and even though his fists were bloody, he felt no pain, only boundless thrill.
"Bang", a gunshot suddenly rang out, and the general who was about to charge at the Big Bear fell down unwillingly. Half of his head was blown open, and hot blood mixed with brains splashed all over the Big Bear's face.
"Sniper!"Eric Li's heart suddenly flashed. He had been fighting for so long, but he didn't realize that there was a hidden sniper on the other side!
In such a battle, snipers are undoubtedly their biggest threat. Their physical strength is not strong enough to resist the sniper's deadly bullets! At this moment, Eric had already begun to think about retreating. There were snipers in the dark, and his life might be threatened at any time!
He doesn't want to die! He has not enjoyed enough of the prosperity of the world!
When masters fight, life and death often only take a moment. At the moment when Eric was distracted, he suddenly felt a chill on his neck and blood spurted out from the wound on his neck.
Big Bear and Brandon looked at each other, turned back at the same time, and gave a thumbs up to the dark mountainside!
