Having a blast?
Jonathan's mind began to wander. Could it be that Benjamin was going to take him to chat with his sister about life's aspirations?
Despite Jonathan's flirtatious demeanor, he was still a greenhorn. It wasn't that women didn't find him attractive, but he bore the virginity mark placed by the three Madams.
Yes, it was the virginity mark designed by the three Madams to keep him focused on his training. If Jonathan couldn't reach the seventh level of the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon, he wouldn't be able to touch a woman.
But even though he couldn't go all the way, he could still kiss a little without any problem. Moreover, he had never been to such an exciting place.
"When do we leave?" Jonathan asked immediately.
"Right now!" Benjamin hurriedly replied.
Afterwards, the two men walked out of the villa arm in arm and drove away from Silver Snow Mountain.
Underground of East City Glorious KTV.
Jonathan stared at the group of people in front of him who were continually betting high and low. He gritted his teeth and glared at Benjamin, "You call this having a blast?"
This was nothing more than an underground casino. Where were the girls?
Benjamin said, "Isn't it fun to win money? Brother, don't worry, I'm covering all the expenses today!"
Hearing this, Jonathan's mood improved slightly. If Benjamin asked him to spend his own money, he would leave immediately, even if it meant not teaching his martial arts.
"Let's get this straight first, the money I win is mine." Jonathan said.
Benjamin waved his hand grandly, "Of course, it's all yours!"
"You think you can win money? Country bumpkin, aren't you afraid of biting your tongue while boasting?"
Just then, a disdainful voice came, Jonathan turned his head and saw Joshua, who was followed by two underlings.
Joshua coldly looked at Jonathan, "Kid, we meet again."
"Cut the crap, call me dad."
As soon as Jonathan opened his mouth, he made Joshua half-dead with anger.
"Kid, how dare you talk to Mr. Cropper like this! Believe it or not, I'll kill you!" One of Joshua's underlings angrily said.
"Damn, dare to mess with my brother, believe it or not, I'll kill you first!" Benjamin glared and said.
The underling coldly said, "Kid, do you know where this is? This is Golden Splendor, and I can call dozens of brothers to chop you down, believe it or not!"
"Give it a try, whoever doesn't call for backup today is a grandson!" Benjamin angrily said.
The underling glared and was about to call for help with his phone, but was stopped by Joshua.
"Enough, we're here to have fun, not to cause trouble," Joshua said, looking at Jonathan, "Country bumpkin, you dare to play here? Aren't you afraid of losing all your money?"
Jonathan replied, "I have lots of money, and I can play however I want. Why are you so concerned?"
"Heh, is that so? Well, we'll see."
After saying that, Joshua left with his underlings.
Watching Joshua's retreating figure, Benjamin spat, "Damn, what a jerk!"
"Ignore him, he's still my eldest son after all, let's just enjoy ourselves."
Jonathan looked at the tables around him with curiosity.
He had only played poker with others in the village and hadn't played with these things before. He was a bit itchy to try.
"Okay, I'll go exchange some chips first." Benjamin nodded.
On the other side.
"Mr. Cropper, why did you stop me just now? I'm going to call someone to take care of those two boys."
One of the underlings said to Joshua.
Joshua sneered, "It's not interesting to just directly deal with them. I want them to regret coming here today! You go and tell Mr. Quickley that those two boys have a grudge against me, and ask him to take good care of them later."
The words 'take care' were heavily emphasized by Joshua, clearly not as simple as it sounded.
The underling nodded, "Don't worry, Mr. Cropper, I'll go and tell the boss right now."
Watching the underling leave, Joshua smirked.
He planned to make Jonathan lose everything here, and best if he ends up in debt.
Although Master York would kill Jonathan when he arrived, before that, he wanted to make Jonathan know what despair was. After torturing Jonathan enough, he would let Master York kill him!
Moreover, he and the boss here, Ryan Quickley, were friends. If he wanted to set up someone here, Ryan would definitely not interfere and might even help him.
Benjamin exchanged fifty thousand in chips and wandered around with Jonathan, but the two of them didn't play anything after a full round.
"Bro, what do you want to play? We've been around once already." Benjamin said.
Just as Jonathan was about to speak, Joshua's voice came, "Does a country bumpkin like him know how to play? I think you two should just scram, don't be an eyesore here."
"Dad can do whatever he wants, does he need you, his son, to worry about him?" Jonathan casually said.
He just wanted to know how to play the games in the casino. But there were too many variations here. Apart from betting on big and small, he didn't understand the rest.
"You!" Joshua's face turned cold, suppressing his anger, "Jonathan, do you dare to bet with me?"
"Since when did a father bet with his son? This is bullying."
Joshua stared at Jonathan, "Are you scared?"
"Damn! What am I afraid of? Just say it, what are we playing!"
"A country bumpkin like you probably won't understand complicated games. Let's play dice and bet on big or small, alright?" Joshua said.
"Let's play then. I'm not scared of you. They say there are no fathers and sons at the gambling table, but today I'll play with my eldest son."
Jonathan kept referring to Joshua as his eldest son, almost making Joshua explode with anger.
But to watch Jonathan lose everything, he suppressed his anger and went to the table for betting on big and small. "Make way, we want to bet alone."
Joshua's words immediately attracted the attention of the people around. They all gathered around, looking with curiosity.
"Isn't that Mr. Cropper? Why did he come here?"
"He probably came to have fun. But it seems like Mr. Cropper is about to bet against someone. Who's the other party?"
"I don't know, but he looks like a construction worker. Hiss! Does he have money?"
"Betting on big or small? Interesting. It's pure luck. I wonder who will win."
Listening to the conversations around him, Joshua smirked.
To others, betting big or small was purely luck. But he knew the tricks inside.
As the saying goes, nine out of ten gamblers are cheats. It's impossible to win money by luck alone.
Joshua had already arranged with someone to tell Ryan. The dice-roller was one of his own. If he wanted to, he could control every bet. Whoever he wanted to win would win, and whoever he wanted to lose would lose.
In his view, as long as Jonathan steps on the gambling table, he's bound to lose!
Benjamin glanced at the table and whispered to Jonathan, "Bro, I feel like Joshua is up to no good. We can't let him trick us."
Jonathan smiled confidently, "Don't worry, I'm super lucky. Betting big or small with me, even if he calls his whole family, it won't work!"
After saying that, Jonathan sat opposite Joshua, "Tell me, how do we bet?"
"The Casino Dealer shakes the dice, we bet on big or small, whoever guesses right wins," Joshua said.
Jonathan laughed, "Let's do it then. Just remember, don't cry when you lose later."
"Hmph, it's still uncertain who will cry! Let's start."
Joshua glanced at the Casino Dealer, giving him a subtle look.
The message was simple. Give Jonathan a hard time. Once Jonathan loses all his chips, he'll naturally go exchange for more.
The Casino Dealer picked up the dice cup, shook the dice with a flourish, and placed the dice cup on the table half a minute later.
"Gentlemen, please place your bets."
