chapter 5 I'm allergic to smell

"Is it you?"

Steven Lu covered his mouth, which was still bleeding, and his nose was crooked with anger.

Pointing at Xavier Si, he said, "Who the hell are you? How dare you hit me? Do you know who I am?"

Xavier Si was playing with a piece of candy in his hand, a gift from Olivia Xia before they went downstairs, saying it tasted really good.

"I'm allergic to bad smells," Xavier Si said with a smirk and casually tossed the candy into the air, then forcefully slapped it in the direction of Steven Lu.

His movements were slow, slow enough for Steven Lu to feel the strong threat clearly.

Steven Lu's hand covering his mouth trembled, and when he saw the candy flying from Xavier Si's hand, he screamed in fear, pushed Emma Xia aside, and hid behind her.

"Snap..." Xavier Si's hand gently caught the candy, which was supposed to be slapped out of his hand, and he held it steadily.

He lazily opened his palm, his face carrying a satisfied smile as he slowly put the candy in his mouth. His actions were enticing.

Olivia Xia's heart fluttered, her breath caught, and she instinctively looked away, blushing, cursing the man for being so seductive.

"You, you're messing with me?!" Steven Lu came back to his senses and saw Xavier Si leisurely playing with the candy wrapper, and his face turned bright red with anger.

Xavier Si raised an eyebrow, "Messing with you?"

Realizing he misspoke, Steven Lu's face turned even more grotesque, "Olivia, you better control your lover. Otherwise, if something happens to him one day, it's not my responsibility."

Olivia Xia smiled at Steven Lu, "With those words from you, I feel relieved. If one day I can't find him, I know who to ask."

Xavier Si turned to look at Olivia Xia, his long narrow eyes carrying a hint of amusement.

"Let's go, my dear, let's go home." Olivia Xia took Xavier Si's hand and walked forward confidently.

"Olivia, stop right there!" Emma Xia, who had just been pushed, finally regained her senses, angrily shouted, "You hit Steven, and you think you can just walk away like that?"

Olivia Xia turned and raised her hand, slapping Emma Xia in the face, "Sis, didn't your mother teach you to speak politely? I don't mind doing it for my sister."

"Listen, he..." Olivia Xia pulled Xavier Si a step forward, slightly tilting her chin and smiling arrogantly, "He's my husband, your brother-in-law. If you like to use the term 'lover' to describe your husband, I don't mind using that title for my future brother-in-law."

After Olivia Xia's cool statement, she turned and walked away, holding Xavier Si's hand.

She coughed awkwardly a few times, glanced at Xavier Si beside her, and said, "Um, do you think I... acted too boldly just now?"

Xavier Si was tickled by her cute appearance and resisted the urge to pinch her delicate face. He smirked and didn't say anything.

"Do you dare to find fault with me?" Olivia Xia asked, her head held high, looking a bit annoyed.

She pouted, looking angry and adorable, making Xavier Si's smile even wider.

"I dare not," Xavier Si said lazily. "I called those actions bold, but when you do them, it's cute."

The magnetic voice mixed with his seductive face created an invisible hormone, making Olivia Xia's heart uncontrollably flutter.

She blushed and dared not look into his soul-sucking eyes, angrily said, "You're so good at teasing; did you learn that in the hotel?"

Xavier Si touched his chin and was tempted to say, "I learned it on my own when I met my little darling," but he was afraid it would make Olivia Xia think he was that kind of promiscuous man, so he just smiled and didn't say anything.

"Let me tell you, Xavier Si, if I catch you flirting with girls everywhere in the future..."

"I'll be ready to get divorced, I know," Xavier Si interrupted. His tone was deep and mysterious.

"Good, very self-aware," Olivia Xia clapped her hands in satisfaction and handed him a card. "Hold this card and buy some good clothes, and use it to collect a few things for our new home."

Xavier Si looked at the card in her hand but didn't take it.

"Are you planning to support me?"

"Support you? You wish!" Olivia Xia shoved the card into his hand and crossed her arms over her chest. "I don't care what kind of job you do, but I won't tolerate my man being looked down upon. Also, deduct the money for lunch from your friend's card and pay it back when you have the chance. Don't take advantage of people casually."

Xavier Si looked at the card in his hand and didn't say anything.

"Are you planning to support me?"

"Support? You're thinking too much!" Olivia Xia pushed the card into his hand, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "I don't care what job you do, but I won't allow my man to be looked down upon. Also, deduct the money for lunch from your friend's card and pay it back when you have the chance. Don't take advantage of people."

Xavier Si looked at the card in his hand, feeling somewhat bemused.

But Olivia Xia didn't give him a chance to explain. "Don't think that just because I'm giving you money to spend, you can stop trying. Even though your job isn't great, hard work is more important than anything. Also, save money where you can, understand?"
