chapter 12 Robbery?

"Spending money? Spending money on women? And I have to spend money on someone that you take a fancy to? Are you sure you're not asking me to help you support your wife?" Cordell questioned.
"I am a game developer. How can I have a human wife!" the game developer replied.
When Cordell heard this, he didn't know why his back felt cold, and he thought in his heart, "Isn't this guy a human being? Could it be the vanguard force sent by aliens to the Earth? To control me to destroy the world! Oh my god!"
"Don't think too much. I'm not an alien. I'm just a game developer!" the game developer snapped.
As soon as he finished speaking, a three-dimensional screen appeared in front of Cordell. Various items flashed on it, making Cordell drool.
"I advise you it is better to hire a few bodyguards!" said the game developer.
"Why? Why do I need bodyguards?" Cordell was confused.
"Don't you think you are attracting a lot of attention now? There are many people with bad intentions on the earth!" the game developer said.
Cordell was alerted, and only then did he react after being reminded by the game developer. As the saying goes, wealth should not be exposed, which obviously meant to avoid being noticed by people with ulterior motives.
But today Cordell was too high-profile, and he was extremely high-profile all day long. In this situation, it was inevitable that Cordell would be concerned by some people. So Cordell had better be careful!
Anyway, there was another task! And it seemed that the next task was pretty easy to complete! Why not hire a group of bodyguards first? Cordell gritted his teeth and made up his mind!
"I have two hundred points now, and I want to exchange them for twenty first-level bodyguards!" Cordell said harshly.
The first-level bodyguard option on the three-dimensional screen flashed twenty times and then stopped flashing. The first-level bodyguard was worth ten points each. Cordell got twenty of them at once, which meant that Cordell now had no points!
"Where are my bodyguards?" Cordell was stunned for a while, looked around, and asked in confusion.
"Do you want them to come in and sleep with you? They are bodyguards, not your women!" the game developer said coldly.
Cordell was stunned. He suddenly remembered that there was an option to redeem points for maids. One must know that the appearance of the maids in the redemption is absolutely good. Even the cheapest maids had an average score of more than sixty points. But unfortunately, it was too expensive, and Cordell has no intention of getting this now.
The next morning, Cordell left the room with swollen eyes. Last night, he was so excited that he spent the whole night looking at the redemption items. The more he looked at them, the more excited he became, and he couldn't sleep all night.
Delias couldn't help but frown when he saw Cordell like this. He thought Cordell had been stimulated to cry all night again, so he hurriedly stepped forward to comfort Cordell in various ways.
"Cordell, you can find a girlfriend as long as you want. Why do you back yourself into a corner?" Delias asked with a puzzled look on his face.
Cordell raised his eyebrows, looked helplessly at Delias in front of him, and said slowly, "I'm not going to back myself into a corner! After returning to school this time, I'm going to start looking for a girlfriend in a high-profile way! How about it?"
"Good! Brother! A man should be free and easy. Otherwise, it will be different when they have a fiancée, and they will be controlled. Like me, I must be sneaky when going to a nightclub!" Delias said with a forced smile.
The two came to the underground parking lot, and when they were about to get in the car, they saw a man in black clothes with tattoos all over his arms blocking their way.
Delias knew something was wrong and said softly to Cordell, "When the situation goes wrong, run away immediately, or give them more money. At least don't let them hurt you!"
Cordell nodded, looked at the man in front of him calmly, smiled slightly, and said, "I wonder what this brother wants to do?"
"Swish—"
As soon as Cordell finished speaking, a group of people rushed out of the surrounding area. At first glance, there were almost a dozen people, each dressed like a gangster.
Albert, the man who blocked Cordell's way, turned around and walked up to the Bentley. He fondly touched the hood of the car and said slowly, "We have followed you guys all night, two young masters! The young masters come out without bodyguards to protect you. Are you guys going to send money to us, aren't you?"
"Whatever you want, we'll give it to you!" Delias said solemnly. A wise man would not fight when the odds were against him. Well, Delias's current handling method was the wisest.
"Me? What do I want? I want this car, everything you have on you, plus 500,000 dollars in cash. How about that?" Albert said slowly.
The corner of Delias's mouth twitched slightly. Well, that Bentley alone cost almost one million. That was highway robbery. If they followed Albert's words, Cordell and Delias would lose at least one million on average. Of course, Cordell would lose more.
"What if I say no?" Cordell said calmly.
Albert slowly turned around, looked at Cordell, and said coldly, "If you don't agree with it, I can help you finish the rest of your life!"
"Oh? Then you come and try it," a contemptuous smile appeared on the corner of Cordell's mouth, and he stared at Albert, who was standing not far away from him, clearly looking like he was provoking!
Delias's expression turned disapproving at this moment, and he hurriedly pulled Cordell and said, "A wise man does not fight when the odds are against him. So don't anger them!"
