Chapter 4 Revenge In Secret

by Overnight 15:33,Aug 21,2020
Wendla and Sal went out early the next morning, while I was still lying on the floor.

As soon as they left, I couldn't wait to go back to the bedroom. They just cleaned up the quilt. I couldn't help lying on the bed, smelling fragrant of two women, intoxicated.

I had just cooked lunch when Wendla and Sal suddenly came back. They went upstairs without greeting me.

But soon, they went downstairs. I thought they were coming back for something, but Wendla suddenly came up to me and slapped me in the face.

At that time, I was in a daze, and my face was burning with pain. I looked at Wendla angrily, but the anger was fleeting away quickly.

And Wendla quickly typed something on her cell phone: Thief, give it to me!

Now I'm totally confused. Wendla said I was a thief? What had I stolen?

Seeing the confused look on my face, Wendla was even angrier. She directly tweaked my ear and scolded me, "I know that you are so poor that you must be dishonest one day. I didn't expect that you dropped your mask so quickly and even dared to steal my things."

I shook my head to tell Wendla that I didn't know what she was talking about.

Wendla, on the other hand, typed to me directly on her cell phone: Hand in my friend's necklace, or I will call the police.

It turned out that Sal lost her necklace. I was shocked to see "call the police", but I really knew nothing about her necklace.

I typed to tell her that she had got me wrong and that I had never seen a necklace.

Wendla didn't believe it at all. She typed and told me that she could let me go if I handed in the necklace. She also said that I must be desperately poor so that I saw something valuable and took it.

Sal was not as fierce as Wendla. She just said to Wendla, "Wendla, forget it, he looked so pathetic. You said he had a sick sister, and I guess he needs money urgently. Moreover, he lives with you, a gorgeous woman, but he couldn't touch you. He may need money to solve his physiological problems. We should give him a chance to put the necklace back when he's alone."

Wendla said that people like me who had sticky fingers needed to be taught a lesson. However, she did as Sal said and didn't hit me anymore. She just typed on her cell phone: Consider it is the first time you steal, I won't call the police. Just put it back to where it was.

While showing me this sentence, wendla said, "The poorer the man, the more imprudent he is. This kind of unethical money wouldn't cure his sicken sister."

My sister was my only relative. Wendla's words really annoyed me. My face turned red with anger.

Finally, I didn't hold back. I pushed Wendla away and rushed out angrily. Because I was aggressive, I knocked down Sal. Wendla forgot that I couldn't hear her and scolded me angrily, "You f**king loser! Stop!"

I ignored her and ran far away in one breath.

Wendla didn't chase me in the end, but gradually I calmed down. Although I was still angry, I also a little regretted it. I felt I should not run like this, I had endured for a long time, how could I not bear it this time.

But I really didn't know about that necklace. I thought it was necessary to clarify this matter and solved it.

But after I went back, I found that Wendla and Sal had gone. I thought that they didn't have to insult me by wronging me on purpose. Sal must really lose her necklace. So I decided to go to the bedroom and look for it.

I looked around on the bed and under the bed. I didn't see any necklace. But when I was ready to give up, I saw a glittering thing in the crevice of the bedside cupboard. I used a flashlight to look clearly. It was a crystal necklace.

I was so happy that I sent a message to Wendla. I said that I went to the bedroom and found the necklace. I asked her to come back to get it.

Soon Wendla sent me a message, which said: Put the necklace on my bedside cupboard. I won't pursue the matter this time. If you dare to steal from me again, I won't let you go easy!

After reading Wendla's message, I was aggrieved. She didn't listen to my explanation at all. Why was this woman so arrogant? Was I even worse than a dog to her?

The more I thought about it, the angrier I got. I felt that Wendla had firmly thought I was a real thief. I didn't even have a chance to defend myself.

Anger, humiliation, grievance, inferiority, all kinds of emotions rose in my heart, and I finally decided to "resist"!

I thought I could be a coward and pretend to be a flunkey in front of Wendla, all for the sake of life and money. But I was not really a loser, I could use my brain to make Wendla pay the price.

So I registered a new WeChat ID and added up my mother-in-law. Her WeChat name was her real name, Yvonne Chen.

Then I sent a video of Wendla and Sal going to the hotel that night to her and left her a message saying that her daughter was a freak.

Soon Yvonne asked me who I was, but I didn't reply to her.

After doing this, I took a long breath. I felt much better. I believe Yvonne would find Wendla to ask her about it. Wendla was obviously afraid of her mother. This time, she would suffer a lot.

Sure enough, Wendla's mother came the next day.

She came in the afternoon, and before Wendla came back, she called me down the hall.

She typed: Manny, tell me the truth, do you and Wendla get along with each other? Are you really trying to have a baby?

I nodded, and then she asked me, "How did she treat you? Does she usually have social intercourse and seldom go home?"
I typed: Wendla is very family-oriented and seldom socializes. Even if she has friends associate with, she will bring them home. A few days ago, she brought a friend home for a sleepover.

I told her about Wendla taking Sal home for a sleepover. Yvonne's face suddenly turned gloomy. I guess she must have believed that Wendla was a freak.

Soon Wendla came back, and they told me to go upstairs, and then I heard that they had a fight downstairs.

To my surprise, Yvonne seemed to know Sal.

Because she asked, "Wendla, be honest to mom. Do you still hang out with that little slut?"

I was confused for a moment, but I quickly realized it.

It turned out that Yvonne knew that her daughter was a lesbian. No wonder she was willing to accept me as her husband and monitored us!

But Wendla didn't know what I was telling her. She retorted, "Mom, what are you talking about? I'm married. How can I hang out with her?"

Yvonne immediately raised her voice. She was very angry, "Wendla, don't lie to me. I've received a video. Look at it yourself. You're going to tick me off!"

Then Yvonne should have shown Wendla the video I had sent.

There was a brief silence, but Wendla quickly continued to retort, "Mom, who gave you this? Whoever it is must want to break our relationship. This is a long time ago. I haven't seen Sal recently. "

Hearing what Wendla said, I thought that she was still very alert. The evidence was there, and she was so calm to defend herself.

Suddenly, there was a crackling sound downstairs. Yvonne actually slapped Wendla in the face!

At that time, I felt excited. I thought, "Wendla, you really deserve it since you always slap me for no reason."

After slapping Wendla in the face, Yvonne was very angry and continued, "Wendla, don't lie to me. I asked Manny just now. You took a woman home for a sleepover yesterday!"

I was a little nervous when Yvonne said that. Would Wendla vent her anger on me in the end?

Soon, Wendla seemed to be furious. She said, "Mom, why do you like to interfere with my business so much? I'm already married. What do you want me to do?"

Yvonne was still angry and did not say a word. After half a minute, she said furiously, "Wendla, I don't care about your business any longer. I don't care who you hang out with. But there's one thing you have to do for me. Whether you cure Manny or go out and find a random man, you must give me a grandson, or you're not my daughter anymore."

Yvonne would rather let Wendla go out to look for a random man in order to get a grandson. I realized that, not only in Wendla's eyes but also in her mother's, my status was insignificant. I was really just a tool to carry on the family line.

After Yvonne finished speaking, I heard a clattering of footsteps. She left.

Wendla quickly said to her mother, "Well, mom, I'll listen to you this time. Within a year, I'll give you a grandson. From then on, you'll stop meddling in my affairs."

I was stunned. Was she really going to have a baby with me?
