"It's because you are beautiful and also genial",, Fiona answered, and Jen raised her eyebrow.w She doesn't see that as enough reason why the princess would want to be friends with a maid.
"Alright," Jen replied as she wanted to leave, but Fiona called her back. Why was the maid in a haste? Mary would just bombard her with annoying work.
"Yes?" Jen asked.
"Why is this place dark? Why don't you open the windows?" Jen asked.
"We are vampires, we don't get exposed to direct sunlight," Fiona explained. No wonder the castle's large curtains were all closed; the source of light was from the electric white bulb.
"What will happen?" Jen asked, and she got curious about what would happen to them if they got exposed to sunlight.
"We sort of burn", she explained as she sat on the bed and looked at Jen.
"Come," Fiona said as she led Jen to her table., She urged her to sit, showed her the makeup kits and what they were used for, she applied them to Jen.
"You are not reflecting on the mirror?" Jen asked, she noticed it when Fiona was standing behind her, Jen could only see herself and not Fiona.
"Yes, vampires don't," she replied as she showed Jen some of the things she doesn't know. Jen kept asking questions, and Fiona found herself answering all the questions.
"Ahh, what a hectic day,y" Jen complained, so many things to learn from Fiona. Especially, how she would bathe herself and how to prepare the bath, and how to help her with her dress jewelry.
"What's this?" Jen asked as she stared at the shiny jewelry in front of her. She had never seen anything so shiny like that before.
"It's silver," she said, and Jen gave a simple nod. Fiona showed her the ruby, emerald, jade, platinum, silver, diamond, and gold jewelry. Jen paid attention to everything, and she was now familiar with
them, since she was serving the princes, she needed to know things like this.
"Your highness.." she said, but was cut off.
"Call me Fiona since we are friends," Fiona said with a smile, and Jen nodded.
"Try this coat," Fiona said as she brought out a beautiful green gown from her closet...
"You can't give me, I can't wear it." Jen.Id, why would the princess give her the clothes?
"Just try it," Fiona said, and Jen slipped out of her dres, and she wore the green gown.
"You look so stunning," Fiona complimented., The lady was too beautiful to be a maid; maybe she was something else.
"Yeah, thanks," Jen said as she smiled, no one had ever told her.
The guards barged into the to, and Jen panicked.
"Your highness, you need to come with us," the guard said as he bowed to Jen and not Fion., Jen glanced at Fiona as she looked confused. Why were they bowing to her?.
Fiona nodded for her to go, maybe the guards mistook her for the princess because she almost looked like FioFionut, it's the wine hair and her skin tone. Fiona was very pale, le but Jen was not as pale as
Fiona.
"I don't know how to do it," Jen complained as she whispered in Fiona's ears.
"Just try," Fiona said. She giggled when she saw Jen going with the guards.
Jen passed by Mary, and the woman bowed to him. She was stunned. Were they all blindShe was not the princess; she just dressed in this green dress, and they thought she was the princess, so hilarious.
"Your highness, how do we solve this?" The guard asked, Jen rolled her eyes, Can't they solve a problem without including the princess, Why did she bring herself so much trouble?
"This young man stole our horse, and he is still claiming it," The guard said with his head bowed. Jen looked at the man; he didn't look like a thief, maybe his appearance was deceiving.
Jen cleared her throat, "Young mister, are you sure you are the owner of the horse?" Jen asked, and the man nodded.
"That's good, he is the owner, you people are careless, give him back the horse, "Jen said sarcastically before running away.
"Huh?" the guard asked as he slowly raised his head. Why would she say that? Their princess judged fairly.
"You heard her, give it to me," he said in a demanding tone that made the guard gulp. He set the horse free as he gave it to the man, who walked away.
Jen kept running, this was so risky, what if they caught he?.
"Your highness, which is more beautiful?" the maids asked as they stopped her.
Jen didn't glance at it before yelling "Purple" as she ran away. The maids looked confused. The dress was yellow and pink, but where did she get purple from? They shrugged their shoulders. Maybe she isn't okay.
Jen ran as she rushed into Princess Fiona's room. Her eyes widened when she saw Fiona scrubbing the floor in a maid's dress, which was her dress.
"What are you doing?" Jen asked as she looked, so surprised to find her in that condition.
"Mary gave me the work, I couldn't say I was not the maid, she would know it's you dressed in a princess's clothes, I had to do this for you," Fiona explained slowly as she dropped the scrub and cleaned her sweats.
Mary entered the room, and she thought she saw Jen sitting on the bed. Fiona had changed into Jen's clothes, and he was suspecting that something bad would happen.
"What are you doing? Why are you sitting?" Mary asked in a cold tone, and Fiona bowed her head.
"I am sorry, the princess told me to wait,s he said as she imitated Jen's voice.
Mary nodded, but she didn't look satisfied as she saw her doing nothing.
"Grab that scrub and clean the floor, I must not see a speck of dust," she instructed loudly as she pulled Fiona harshly to grab the bucket.
