They went to a table and everyone was there, the atmosphere was amazing from the get-go, and they received a few glances.
They took out their drinks and sat down at the table. The atmosphere was amazing, and she set her sights on Bria. he looked amazing with his shirt off.
"Do you want us to wipe the drool off your face?" Paige teased her.
Storm could not help herself until Brian found her eyes; she felt heat rushing to her face and tried to look away, but he motioned for her to come.
"Go..." her friends egged her on.
"No, probably wasn't calling out to me."
"He is coming this way," Meghan said in a panicked tone.
"Stop staring."
"Maybe we should leave," Paige replied.
"No, don't!"
Brian sat down next to him, and he was shirtless in front of her. he greeted her friends, "I thought you were going to text me?"
"I wanted to, but I did not want to be a bother."
"You're too adorable."
Storm did not miss the part when Noah and Collin came to their table, and they all were the top dogs.
"We will go for a swim later on?" Brian asked.
"Yes," Storm replied.
"Chase, you finally made it." It was Noah this time.
Storm froze a bit when she remembered the encounter that she had with him, and she avoided eye contact.
Brian distracted her once more when he took a bit of her hair and played with it. He leaned, and she held her breath., "Your hair is beautiful." He whispered in her ear, and his breath was tickling her.
"Bria, what are you doing? They both looked up, and the girls in front of them were fierce, and she knew instantly that they were also the top wolves.
"Talking to Storm."
The girls finally acknowledged her presence: "If I were you, I would move."
"We are the ones that came to them, not the other way around," Brian replied.
"They still have to show us respect!"
"Cut it out, Beverly, none of us here is in a committed relationship." Chase's voice boomed, and he had so much authority that it did not allow for defiance.
Storm now saw who Beverly was, and she had to admit they were intimidating, and now they were all seated at the same table.
There was so much tension, and they knew that, as her friends also felt it, what should they do? Would they rather leave or what?
"Ch,ase, when are you going to visit me?"
"Nat, Alie cut it. Outt, you and I are not a thing and never will be."
Storm was surprised at the way Chase was ruthless. She studied him; he was good-looking, alright,t,t, and she could not deny that.
He had black, brown hair, and his eyes were the same. He was very muscular with tattoos on his chest, and when she went back up, she found Chase's gaze.
Her eyes widened in panic. He knew that she had been checking him out, and she wanted to hide in embarrassment as she looked away quickly.
Beverly had sat on the other side of Brian, and she was showing who was boss as she pulled on Brian and took all his attention.
At least, Paige and Meghan were getting enough attention, even though they were the other top female wolves trying to stake their place.
Storm stood up and slipped away unnoticed., She was glad no one stopped her, and if they did, she had an alibi that she did not need.
She was disappointed at the fact that Brian had not even realized that she was leaving. What did she expect? They all already said they don't commit, s that had gone out the window.
When she found a spot where the sun was streaming in the forest, she sat down and leaned her back against the tree.
Storm closed her eyes as she took in the warmth, and it was peaceful. She would go back later and take a dip in the lake.
If Meghan and Paige were looking for her, they would call her. Funny that she was more comfortable when she was away from everyone.
"So this is where you went?"
Storm looked up, and she had not heard him arrive, and it was Chase standing in front of her.
