Today, Heidi's attire was quite traditional.
She wore a light blue cheongsam, perfectly showcasing her enchanting S-curve, with her hair tied back, lightly made up.
The cheongsam had a slit up to her thigh, revealing her slender, smooth skin, delicate enough to be broken with a blow.
Heidi had reached the age where a woman is at her most perfect. Despite her dignified dress, she couldn't hide the inherent allure in her bones.
"Sorry to interrupt." Heidi greeted everyone with a smile as warm as spring.
Her smile was something else, lighting up the room like a ray of sunshine, displaying all her charm.
No man could resist such allure.
For teenage boys, it was especially irresistible.
Everyone was stunned.
Especially the male students, their eyes glued to Heidi at the door, utterly transfixed.
The pieces of meat held mid-air also dropped onto the table.
All the girls, except for Amira, showed looks of envy and jealousy.
"You're so beautiful, sister." Even Amira couldn't help but exclaim.
Heidi glanced at Amira and noticed she was also a beauty in the making, smiling slightly, "Thank you, young lady. In a few years, you'll be even more beautiful than me."
"President Heidi, do you need something?" Atlas was the first to regain his composure, quickly putting away his frivolous expression and stood up to ask.
After a brief talk with Atlas, Heidi's gaze turned to Jackson, her expression a mix of amusement and curiosity.
Seeing this look, Atlas felt a sudden unease. Could it be that Heidi knew Jackson?
That seemed impossible.
One was a penniless returnee from overseas, and the other was the general manager of Jimstantham City's largest hotel. How could their paths possibly cross?
Heidi soon confirmed his doubt.
"Mr. Jackson, you're not a very good friend, coming to my place without giving me a heads-up," Heidi said playfully, pretending to be upset.
"Just having a meal with friends, I didn't plan to bother you. Besides, we just met last night," Jackson said helplessly.
"Last night was in the hotel, but today it's in the restaurant. Is that the same?" Heidi said flirtatiously without any hesitation.
Hearing this, everyone, including Amira, was shocked, their mouths agape.
Atlas was especially dumbfounded. Although he had only met Heidi once before, he had considered her the perfect woman in his heart.
While Amira's beauty was no less than Heidi's, she was still a young girl, her charm yet to fully emerge, and couldn't compare.
Now Atlas realized that his ideal woman had been taken by a 'pig'.
Feeling both sad and jealous, Atlas was more relieved than anything. Since Jackson was involved with Heidi, he wouldn't compete with him for Amira.
Amira, however, was utterly confused.
What's going on? Wasn't Mr. Jackson with Violet? Did she guess wrong?
"Fine, you heartless man. It seems even if I'm more passionate, I can't get into your heart," Heidi said, looking hurt. She then leaned close to Jackson and whispered something in his ear.
"Alright, since you all are friends of Mr. Jackson, I'll take care of this. This meal is on the house," Heidi announced with a smile to everyone.
Clap, clap!
With a light applause from Heidi, two waiters entered, carrying a bottle of red wine.
"Enjoy your lunch," Heidi said, and then she left the private room.
The whole room went silent.
Everyone turned their heads towards Jackson in unison.
They were all curious, but it was inconvenient to ask more, as the relationship had not reached that level yet.
Atlas's emotions were like a roller coaster, fluctuating wildly.
He had just planned to splurge, but unexpectedly, not only was the bill waived, but he also received an additional bottle of red wine as a gift.
Immediately, a boy looked up the price of the wine on his phone.
"Gracious me! 22,000 dollars!" the boy exclaimed in shock.
Hearing the discussions of his classmates, Atlas felt uncomfortable, experiencing the sensation of being outshone and embarrassed.
Everyone's gaze towards Jackson became strange. Although Heidi didn't say it, it was obvious that she waived the bill and gifted the wine in consideration of Jackson's presence.
They had previously looked down on Jackson, not expecting him to be so modestly low-key.
Imagine, without this incident, they would never have known that this unremarkable-looking young man possessed such significant influence.
After a satisfying meal, the group left the restaurant.
"This is the most expensive and delicious meal I've ever had in my life!" someone remarked.
Hearing this, Atlas frowned repeatedly.
This was his show, mainly to win Amira's favor and to outshine Jackson.
But it turned out that Jackson took over the spotlight, gaining everyone's attention.
Although Jackson's intervention saved him 15,000 dollars, the taste of being upstaged was not pleasant.
Atlas couldn't figure out why Jackson, who could have a connection with Heidi, looked so destitute and didn't even have a car?
It wasn't until they left the restaurant that he realized the truth.
"So he's a kept man," Atlas thought disdainfully, looking down on Jackson for being poor and unable to afford a car.
"Mr. Jackson, get in the car, I'll take you back," Atlas offered enthusiastically.
"No need, my bodyguard is here to pick me up," Jackson shook his head, greeted Amira, and then walked to a nearby Maybach sports car, opened the door, and sat inside.
Atlas's smile froze, unable to utter a word.
A Maybach, a sports car worth 600,000 dollars.
Even if Atlas brought out all the cars in his family, they wouldn't match up to the four tires of the Maybach.
...
In the car.
The driver of the Maybach, Julius, was the head of the Griffith Family's villa security team.
"Young Master, what happened?" Julius asked.
He was originally on duty at the villa when he suddenly received a text from Jackson, asking him to pick him up at the Hilton Hotel. Julius didn't delay, randomly picked a sports car from the garage, and hurried to the hotel.
"Just a student, who saw me as a romantic rival and competed with me secretly," Jackson said with a chuckle.
"Do you want me to secretly teach him a lesson?" Julius asked in a deep voice.
"No need," Jackson shook his head.
Jackson rarely took harsh measures against ordinary people. To him, people like Atlas were no different from chickens, ducks, cows, and sheep. Getting angry with such people would affect his own state of mind.
What really mattered to Jackson was what Heidi had whispered in his ear earlier.
"If you encounter any trouble in the future, find me immediately. The Land of the Red Dragon's Security Bureau, Jimstantham City branch, will provide the utmost assistance."
This was her exact words.
This meant that once again, Jackson was closely connected with the nation.
...
In the afternoon.
An uninvited guest entered the business department.
"Manager Carlos, you're back from your business trip?" Manager Waylon hurriedly came out to greet him. Carlos was in charge of the company's business and market and was his direct superior, who he absolutely could not afford to offend.
Carlos, a middle-aged man in his forties, was full of anger and spoke harshly, "Waylon, it seems you don't want to be the manager anymore!"
Waylon broke into a cold sweat.
He knew he couldn't avoid what was coming. Ever since Jackson had expelled Lily from the company, he knew that Carlos would target him first upon returning.
Carlos snorted coldly, planning to deal with Jackson first, then find Waylon's trouble.
Scanning the business department's employees, Carlos called out.
"Who is Jackson? Speak up!"
