With trembling hands, Georgina grabbed the box in the locker after she put the envelope and money in the locker into the backpack she was carrying, although Georgina was very curious to hold back her curiosity. Georgina wanted to open the box in the house, the safest place for her. After emptying her mother’s locker, Georgina then exited the storage area to the reception desk to return the locker key.
"Very fast, miss," said the receptionist.
"Yes, I just took things that were left in the locker," Georgina replied, lying a little.
The receptionist smiled a friendly smile, "I see, I have received the key. Thank you for visiting, Miss."
Georgina nodded her head slowly, hearing the receptionist’s words. After giving the locker key back to the receptionist, Georgina then exited the library. Because she couldn’t wait to see the contents of the box in her bag, Georgina chose to go home by taxi, if on the way to the library it would take her almost an hour, whereas taking the bus, now Georgina only takes thirty minutes. As soon as Georgina got out of the taxi, Georgina accelerated her footsteps towards the house, lucky that when she came home, all the neighbors had not left the house. Without thinking, Georgina went back into her house and went straight to her room to open the box she had taken from the locker in the library.
Holding her breath, Georgina again opened her bag, which now contained such a large amount of money, $ 40,000 was a very large amount of money for Georgina. After removing the two packets of money, Georgina then opened the brown envelope, which she believed to be a letter.
"Georgina Sanders, my daughter, maybe when you read this letter, the mother is no longer beside you. I hope that when you read this letter, you will be stronger and stronger., I’m sorry for not telling you the truth about my mother’s illness. I just want to go away quietly without making you. In sadness, when you find this letter, mom has provided money for you to continue your life. Indeed, the amount is not too much, but I hope that with that money you can continue your life without your mother. In this envelope, your mother also includes a photo of your father, Julian Sander, who is currently still living with his new family. Your father’s marriage to his new wife was not because your father betrayed your mother. Your father was forced to do that because of orders from your grandmother and grandfather, who did not like your mother to be their daughter-in-law; therefore, your father was asked to return to Barcelona and marry a woman of choice for your grandparents. Since your father remarried, he has never come back to see your mother. It has been almost 18 years since your father left, because at that time you were three months old in your mother’s womb. Even so, your father is still responsible; he still sends money to mom, and you continue to live, and that money has been saved for almost 10 years, and that money I gave you in cash because you took it directly from the bank. The next time you meet him, please don’t hate your father; he is a victim of the selfishness of his parents, who still think that past debts are paid by marriage. Therefore, I beg you not to hate your father, dear, without him you will never be born into this world. Mother also never regrets loving her, even though she is disappointed, but I’m sure that in your father’s small heart, he must also be tormented, so from that, I tell you, please don’t hate your father. He loves you dearly, loves his daughter, whom he only briefly hugged. In this envelope, you will find a photo of your father and his current address. If you want to come there, please follow the address written on the paper that your mother wrote. I think there are still many things that I want to put in this writing, but I don’t want to make you drag on in sadness. You know, Georgina, I loved you before I could carry you. Forgive all my mistakes so far for not being a good mother to you, and forgive your father’s mistakes too. If there is more life, you want to ask God to give you another chance to be your mother, see you, my son. Even though mom is not there anymore but believe me, mom will accompany you every step of your feet. I love you, Georgina Sanders. I love you.
Drip..drip..drip..
Tears do not stop flowing when she reads the handwriting of the mother, her hands even tremble when holding a new letter, and she reads it. There are no words that can come out of Georgina’s mouth; she could not believe that her father was forced to go home by her grandparents to remarry. Instantly, Georgina’s chest felt tight when she thought about it; she was very angry with her grandparents, who had the heart to let her grow up without her father’s love and make her mother suffer.
Out of curiosity, Georgina then opened the brown envelope that she had placed on the bed. Slowly, he took out several photos that were in the envelope. On the back of the photo, the name of each photo was written.
"So, you are parents who have the heart to separate a child from his father and a wife from her husband; you guys are really bad. I will calculate with you, I, Georgin, swear I will take revenge on all of you, the Sanders family. "
Blar
Suddenly, a thunderbolt sounded loud, and the rain immediately fell; it seemed the sky had blessed Georgina’s oath.
"Calm down, ma’am, in heaven, I promise I will make those people regret that they have wasted you. I will make them crawl near your grave to apologize, mom sob sob.. "
Georgina cried out loud when she found out that her mother had been living in great pain due to her parents’ evil deeds to he. Georgina was angry with her father’s family.
"From now on, my name is not Gergina Sanders again, my name is Georgina Garcia."
