Georgia and Anna both woke up to the squealing sound of the triplets as they ran the length and breadth of the building. Anna knew for sure the only thing that was saving him was the fact that the triplets didn't know her location, but she knew it was only short-lived.
Before she could realize, the twins were already in Anna's room, holding her and shouting at the top of their voices. They had already scrambled over her, and Georgia thought for a second that Kelvin was
chewing Anna's hair.
She prayed to the Luna goddess and the other deities her forefathers served that they wouldn't pay attention to the door at the center of the room. She blamed herself for leaving it open at twilight.
Why must she decide this?
Taking the next best course of action as covering the entire length of her body with the sheets, the sheets weren't pulling. She tugged it hard, and it upset the steel vase decoration on the table, making a
loud clattering noise that reverberated around the whole room as it hit the cold, hard floor. Georgia knew instantly that she had just invited trouble for a girls' night out.
The first person to appear in the doorway was the little demon that had decided to live with her, Keira. Georgia shuddered at the sight of her daughter as she saw her heading towards the bed, and her
brothers followed afterwards, posing semi-devilish. To save herself, Georgia just sat on her bed and stretched her arms, inviting them to come in for a big family hug.
They ran into her arms and she lifted them off, suddenly feeling a rush of peace, love and happiness as their body touching sent sparkles of emotions flying through her.
"Good morning, mummy," they greeted her in unison, just as the good children she had trained them to be.
"Good morning my sunshine. How was your night?"
"It was good," Kelvin replied first, paying attention to the fallen steel vase on the floor.
"Kelvin kept on stirring in bed while Kelsey slept on like a baby," Keira reported, patting and adjusting Kelsie's hair as Iwerehe was ten years older.
"My night was…" he let out a pout, "breathtaking." He added as he started moving to the direction of the steel vase Kelvin had discovered.
"Now, that is good of you. What is the first thing you do in the morning?"
"Hygiene!!" they responded in unison, totally ignoring their mother and rushing to Anna's room as if they had planned it.
"So mum talked about leaving our room today."
"Yeah, a beautiful lady came to take us from our room when we didn't know where we were," Kelsey, the nice one, commented.
"Aww, t, Kelsey," Georgia appreciated before turning to the drama queen for her input, "Yes, what did my angels talk about?"
"We've decided that hygiene is tough work for you and Aunty Anna."
Anna looked up at their mother in confusion, both of them unsure of what was going on.
They took turns talking with Keira at the top. "We hear the way you scream and groan when combing your hair."
Kelsey continued, "or the way you sing in different unpleasant keys in the bathroom," or the way you also scream in the bathroom any time it's winter," Kelvin finished.
The turn bounced back to Keira. Given this, we have decided to be good kids, and we did your hygiene for you! You don't have to bother about it anymore, mum."
"Same goes for you, Aunty Anna," Kelvin declared, obviously hapwith by what they had achieved.
The grown-ups looked at themselves, and Anna had to hide under her sheets, bursting into uncontrollable laughter while Georgia tried to stifle the laughter from coming to her mouth. At first, it was a
mirthful giggle, slowly escaping the corners of her mouth, and then at some point, became a fully-fledged chortle, filling the room and confusing the kids, who were just trying their best to be nice.
Dave had changed, and they had taken one of General Hades' private cars to the infirmary thlayaid close to the Blue City. The Blue Cross was the general name used to describe the Blue City hospital and
The other extensive services that it delivered.
Being here only once, but being his first time, he was taken around, and the names of places were told to him. Dave considered their names monotonous and boring, teasing one of the triplets by calling him
The Blue Kelvin.
Kelvin had laughed it off while the guardian angel, or should he say, the guardian de mon, took a lot of offense in it and threatened to report Dave to the boogeyman.
The drive to the hospital was awesome, with the kids enjoying the experience while Dave commuted the vehicle using the advanced military GPS that the tech guys in the blue room had just
installed.
He drove them to the hospital and was immediately allowed in, no questions asked. When he was looking for a suitable place to park the vehicle, someone pulled out of the parking lot and motioned for him
to park there.
He put the gear on neutral and looked at Anna, "Are they usually that nice?"
"You are driving the car of the national security adviser. What else were you expecting?"
Dave nodded in affirmation, instantly understanding Anna's point without her wordy words. The kids flew out first, looking around the hospital environs, while Anna just walked towards the front door.
As if she was just noticing Anna's dressing, Georgia asked ", Can you tell me again why you are dressed like this?"
"The point is not to call attention to ourselves."
"Oh yes, and we rode in in the private car of the national security adviser. We are so so discreet. I can see our secret entry," she mocked.
The doors to the hotel were opened by some,e guards, and she bounced her way to the receptionist, who recognized her despite the excessive time she had spent at home masking her appearance.
The receptionist didn't see them all go to the elevator, taking the way downstairs to the VVIP lounge. Dave wondered how they structured things h; re, the VVIP section was supposed to be up in the
sky, not down into the ground, but he decided to keep mute.
They got out of the elevator into another lobby on their own. The Lunar Wing of the Blue Cross hospital is a cutting-edge facility specifically designed to treat werewolves during their most vulnerable times. It also serves as the testing ground for biological advancements.
The walls were adorned with soothing colors and murals depicting serene forest landscapes, while the floor was made of polished silver-resistant materials. The air was filled with a subtle scent of
lavender and chamomile, carefully calibrated to ease the anxiety of their lupine patients.
Each private room was equipped with reinforced silver-coated walls and doors, advanced monitoring systems for tracking vital signs and lunar cycles, and customizable lighting to simulate natural moonlight.
Heated floors and therapeutic massage tables, in-room showers with specialized water jets for soothing feet, ur, and personalized medication and supplement dispensers.
Anna knew a lot had been upgraded since she was last around and was amazed to see the Transformation Chamber, a spacious room designed and developed for safe and comfortable shape-shifting for
first timers. It boasted of a large, padded floor with built-in drainage and sanitation systems, adjustable temperature and humidity controls, calming music and nature sounds, and strategically placed mirrors
for patients to monitor their transformations.
They found a technician working on what he told them was a bwasa sound system that would stimulate the sound of nature and would display heat signatures like that of a prey or opponent.
"Your father did most of the work," Anna spun around and saw the renowned Doctor Maria Rodriguez, the leader of the medical team, who was a renowned expert in lycanthropic medicine and known to
provide compassionate and specialized care to both the military and the civilian werewolf population.
She had led the hospital, we, well, and they now utilize the latest research and technology to develop personalized treatment plans, addressing everything from lunar cycle management to chronic pain and
anxiety.
As Doctor Maria shook Anna and Dave's hands, she turned to Georgia, with a hint of remembering her.
"Aren't you from theBrookes's family? You give off their scent so much."
"I am not. I am just a friend of Anna's" s, she lied, not ready for anything that would make her face her family for the meantime.
"Well then, I must be getting old," she said before turning to Anna, "let me take you to your sister. She has been requesting that you be present before starting the extraction process."
"Extraction process? What are you extracting?" she asked puzzled.
"Her blood, all of her blood."
