"Mum... no!" Julian exclaimed in irritation, "Not her..." he pointed at Astrid, who was also in shock. Not only did she get married to her crush, but she would also take the Matie position and go with him on a honeymoon. Becky shot a glare at her son and moved closer to Astrid, "You don't have to worry about this son of mine, eat your breakfast, and let's go get you new outfits." Astrid gently pulled her hands from those of Becky. She could see the glances Julian was throwing at her, and she knew if he wasn't careful, he was ready to ruin her. "Ma'am Becky... we don't have to go for a honeymoon, it's a marriage of..." "No, I refused... You go with me now to get your dress suitable for your body." Astrid swallowed hard, already scared of what he could do if she didn't refuse his mum. "Ma'am... I appreciate you caring for me, but..." "Are you going to say no to me?" Astrid stared at her with a worried gaze. How could she say no to a nice woman like her? "Despite getting married to her son wrongfully, she still never hated her. "Fin,e Ma', am I would go with you," Becky smiled at them, and his and Julian almost felt like ripping her head off. Becky had fallen in love with her the second she had set her eyes on her; goodness knows how excited she was that her son never got married to Mattie but her. Just then, Becky's phone rang., "Oh, I should pick this up." She whispered, and then Astrid gave her the chance to leave. The moment Becky was out of their sight, Julian pulled her roughly. Aww," she groaned, but that wasn't slowing Julian down. He pulled her roughly up the stairs, while Becky could only stare at her son sadly as she exchanged conversation with him. She could tell he wasn't happy, but hoped he would have the mind to love her soon. "Why are you holding her?" Mattie asked as they got out of Becky's sight. Julian let go of Astrid immediately, making her make a loud thud on the ground. "What the fuck would you accept?" He growled, and Astrid lowered her head. "I... I... am sorry," she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. This pissed Julian off more. "I get that you are just a gold digger trying to act innocent in fooling my mum, trust me, I would make your life a nightmare." "Julian, you shouldn't get worried by something like this. We can just switch places with her," Mattie muttered, moving closer to Julian with a sly smirk. She placed a little kiss on Julian's cheek, making him bob his head gently, trying to calm his fury. "Fatso.." Mattie called, staring down at Astrid, "You are going to make her believe you are doing everything she said and..." Mattie squatted, making a sardonic face. "Else..." a small chuckle escaped her lip, "I would make life hell for you." "What is going on here?" Becky asked with her arms folded, interrupting them, and this startled Mattie as she quickly rose. Astrid was about to rise, but hit the ground because she couldn't do so as fast as Matt, ie, or maybe Mattie had tripped her on purpose. She could only accept defeat and sit there. Becky rushed toward her, helping her up. "Jul, Ian, I raised you to be a better man than his." Julian rolled his eyes at this. "You don't expect me to care for someone who destroyed my life, and that would only happen to be reset after a year," he countered. "I am sorry... ma'am Becky, I had tripped to the ground and Mattie was trying to help me up." Becky glanced at her and couldn't say anymore, "Oh darling... You are not supposed to get hard on yourself. My son should be the one apologizing for bringing someone else into your matrimonial home," Becky asserted, now shooting her son an irritating gaze. Mattie knew Becky didn't like her that much, but making it this obvious the day after his wedding with a stranger made her sad. "I can't believe this. I should have been your daughter-in-law if she hadn't ruined it! And all of a sudden, you care about care instead," Mattie pointed at Astrid, irritation laced in her tone. "Yes," Becky answers, and Mattie can't take this anymore. She storms off. "Hey, Babe.." he called about going after her, but Becky pulled him back. "You are going shopping with us," she let out, and Julian almost screamed his head off. Then Becky gestured for Astrid to come with her, and she quietly tagged along, her heart throbbing badly. She was taken back to the dining hall., "You should have your breakfast," Astrid said, shaking her head. Yes, she is the foodie type, but seeing how much tension she caused, she suddenly lost her appetite. "You can have a few bites before he gets ready," she tried to convince her. "Ma'am.." "Call me mum, little one," Becky interrupted her, now caressing her hair. Everyone might call Astridfata, oh, but to her, she is just a little girl going through a phase in life and neglecting her body. She couldn't pinpoint why her heart wanted this girl, but she was sure going to make her the best version of herself. Astrid bt bu, but seeing the gaze cast her, there was no choice but for her to call Becky mum. "You shouldn't force him to go on a honeymoon with me; I am also not comfortable being close to him." A smile spread across Becky's face. "This might bring you together; er, you can't just say you wouldn't go." Becky pulled both her hands. "He is not always grumpy but just mad at the moment, I promise, once he gets to know you...He will be nicer." Astrid couldn't say a word and just accepted her fate. When she was done eating, Julian also cdownstairstar,s having that expression that made Astrid hope for the ground to swallow her in full. "Go, old, leave now." Few cars were arranged in front of the mansion, and Astrid swallowed hard at this. Not only was he embarrassed by her dressing, but also would get into a car worth millions, and when she alighted at the store camera would flash upon her face, and the whole world would see how stupid she dresses. "Hey..." Julian called her hand, and she glanced back to see him stretching another shirt for her. "I wouldn't let you embarrass me more than you did on my joyful day." A small smile tugged on her face as she quickly retrieved it. He might not know, but this meant a lot to her. "Thank you," she whispered. Julian rolled his eyes, getting into the car. Becky smiled at him as she ran inside to change. Not long after, she was back and better dressed. This time, both son and mother had gotten into the car, and she was confused about which car to go in. Then Julian rolls down his glasses, "Are you getting in or what?" Astrid smiled a bit and got into the car with Julian.
