Faced with danger, Amelia stayed composed and told her chauffeur, Ivan Yorke, to get out of the car with her.
Aiden also moved to get out, but Amelia stopped him. "Stay in the car. Don't get out, or they might hurt you."
Even though it was just a simple show of concern, it warmed Aiden's heart.
Besides Gerald and three senior female disciples, Amelia was the first outsider ever to show him any concern.
Ivan shot Aiden a sarcastic look. "You think you can handle this? Give me a break. I could take on ten of you with one hand."
"Step out and you'll get beaten like a dog!"
Back in Vonard Village, Gerald had slapped Ivan, and he took out his grudge on Aiden.
Aiden glanced at Ivan and said, "You've got a dark aura on your forehead. Bad luck's coming your way. Don't try to play the hero."
"Oh, you think you're some fortune teller? Moron!" Ivan rolled his eyes and followed Amelia out.
The bodyguards from the car behind got out too.
A man looked at Amelia with a mocking grin. "Ms. Larson, we've been waiting for you."
Trying to show off, Ivan shoved the man. "Who the hell do you think you are, blocking my boss's car? Get out of the way!"
The man's eyes turned icy. He suddenly grabbed Ivan's wrist and gave it a vicious twist.
Crack!
Ivan's arm broke on the spot.
"Ah!!" Ivan howled in pain.
The man kicked Ivan, sending him crashing to the ground.
Blood gushed from his mouth as his ribs broke.
Ivan lay there, face pale with fear, staring at the man.
The man pointed at the crowd, his face fierce. "Listen up! I'm Stefan Gray from Duncan Corporation!"
Those who knew the name instantly changed their expressions, and Ivan regretted deeply not heeding Aiden's warning.
In Stridora, there were Four Tigers and Three Dragons.
Stefan was one of the Four Tigers, and his brother, Carlos Gray, was one of the Three Dragons.
Backing the brothers was the Fallon family, one of the Four Great Families of Stridora.
Amelia frowned. "Stefan, what do you want?"
"Ms. Larson, Mr. William requests your presence," Stefan replied with a sinister smile.
"Tell Mr. William to stop pestering me," Amelia said, frowning.
"If you won't take the easy way, you'll get the hard way. Don't blame us for what happens next."
"Aaron, Jake, get Ms. Larson in the car!"
At Stefan's order, two huge guys rushed up, clamped a towel over Amelia's mouth and nose, and she immediately passed out.
Her bodyguards rushed to protect her, but were all knocked to the ground.
Just as they were about to drag Amelia away, a calm voice rang out.
"Let her go."
Everyone turned to see Aiden emerging from the Ford, limping as he approached.
Stefan smirked, "What, even a cripple wants to play hero?"
Aiden pointed at Amelia, speaking coldly, "You've got three seconds to let her go and get on your knees to apologize."
Stefan raised an eyebrow and burst out laughing. "Did I hear that right? This cripple wants to make me kneel?"
"That's hilarious!"
"Where does this cripple get the balls to challenge Mr. Stefan?"
"Mr. Stefan could crush him with one finger!"
Stefan's men laughed, their eyes filled with scorn as they looked at Aiden.
Stefan's face turned cold. "I'm from Stridora! Get down and knock your head a hundred times, or I'll break your other leg too!"
"Three!"
"Two!"
"One!"
The count finished, and Aiden hadn't moved an inch.
Stefan smirked, "Aaron, Jake, break his other leg!"
He couldn't even be bothered to deal with Aiden himself.
Jake stopped Aaron, scoffing, "You don't need to bother with this cripple. I can send him flying with a slap!"
With that, Jake lunged forward, swinging his palm right at Aiden's face.
There was a loud smack, and someone went flying.
It wasn't Aiden, it was Jake.
Jake flew ten meters and hit the ground hard, out cold.
A collective gasp arose from the crowd.
Ivan and the others on the ground stared wide-eyed in shock.
Even Aaron and the others just stood there, totally stunned.
Stefan narrowed his eyes. "Didn't expect you had some moves, but so what? You're nothing when you're outnumbered!"
"What are you all standing around for? Get him! Show him what happens when he messes with us!"
At his command, all the men charged at Aiden, shouting.
Bang!
"My leg!"
"Ouch, my arm!"
The burly men flew one by one, landing heavily several meters away.
Each had either a broken arm or leg.
Aiden had shown mercy. Otherwise, they'd all be dead.
"Looks like having more people doesn't help you either," Aiden said, standing there with his hands behind his back.
Seeing his men lying on the ground, moaning, Stefan's expression changed, his voice strained. "Who are you?"
Aiden did not answer, pointing to the ground, his voice cold. "Kneel and apologize. Knock your head a hundred times."
Stefan tried to act tough. "Kid, my brother is Carlos Gray, the River Dragon of Stridora's Three Dragons. He's got a hundred men under him!"
"We work for William Fallon, the third son of the Fallon family. In Stridora, nobody dares mess with Mr. William's people!"
"You want me to kneel? You better think twice!"
Stefan figured anyone would be scared stiff hearing about the Fallon family, and Aiden would be no different.
"Is that so? Let me see how powerful you are."
In a flash, Aiden appeared right before Stefan.
"What the hell are you doing?" Stefan yelled in panic.
Crack!
Aiden snapped his arm.
"Ahhh!" Stefan howled, clutching his broken arm.
"Last chance. Are you gonna kneel or not?" Aiden asked.
For the first time, the fearless Stefan felt fear.
The killing vibe coming off Aiden made him freeze in fear.
Thud!
Stefan dropped to his knees, face down.
"I was wrong! Please, don't hurt me!"
Witnessing this, everyone present was dumbfounded.
The mighty Stefan was begging for mercy.
Who'd believe if they hadn't seen it with their own eyes?
