An hour later, while Jane and Amelia were catching up on sleep, a group of people hurried in. Leading them was a middle-aged couple, both looking worn out. The man was Emerson Looske, Amelia's father. He rushed straight to the bedside and asked, his voice shaking, "Amelia, are you alright?"
