chapter 4 come to the rescue

Seeing his brother-in-law's call, it wouldn't normally necessitate his personal intervention, but hearing that it concerned his father-in-law's most beloved granddaughter, he didn't dare delay and immediately rushed over.
After all, if he wanted to climb higher, he still needed his father-in-law to help clear the way.
"This clinic is suspected of using unlicensed fake drugs and needs to be thoroughly investigated. Please, all unrelated personnel, leave!"
After the Health Bureau staff entered, they immediately labelled the clinic with a not too big, not too small accusation.
After the patients left the clinic, they didn't leave right away but crowded at the door to watch the excitement.
"Director Dabney, this is a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding! Our clinic has always abided by the law. How could we possibly misuse fake drugs?"
Hearing the commotion, the clinic director, Guylan Sandford, immediately ran out. He bowed and offered a cigarette to Powa Dabney while trying to explain with a smile, puzzled as to why the deputy director came to investigate just a few days after he had sent him two boxes of ginseng.
Powa pushed away the cigarette with a cold voice, "Don't try to get close to me. Today, we are handling official business. I heard that there's a doctor named Granada Jackson in your clinic who almost took a child's life due to improper medication?"
"Nonsense! I prescribed medicine based on the condition!" Granada, a bit indignant, stepped out from among the doctors and nurses, her eyes coldly staring at Powa. She guessed that this must be Ola's brother-in-law from the Health Bureau.
Powa's expression visibly paused upon seeing Granada, obviously somewhat stunned by her beauty, but he quickly recovered and said coldly, "Whether the medication was appropriate or not, we will investigate thoroughly. Please come with us."
"Director Dabney, you're being too harsh. Doctor Jackson is a well-known and reputable doctor in our region," Guylan said with a smile, "Besides, the child was already better when they left our clinic."
"Mr. Sandford, don't blame me for not giving you face. If you keep beating around the bush in front of me, I will arrest you too," Powa Dabney coldly glanced at Guylan Sandford.
Guylan, seeing that Powa was serious, didn't dare to make a sound and cursed him inwardly for being ruthless.
Powa signaled two of his subordinates with his eyes, and they immediately moved to arrest Granada, but Baqir, who was unknown when he had arrived, stood in front of Granada, confronting Powa coldly, "As far as I know, the Health Bureau doesn't have the authority to arrest people."
"Who are you? It's none of your business whether I have the authority to arrest people or not!" Powa was infuriated, "Mr. Sandford, is he also a doctor at your clinic?"
"No, he's Doctor Jackson's husband," Guylan said, giving Baqir a look, signaling him not to be impulsive.
"Oh, so it's him. I've heard that he also treated my niece, right? Do you have a medical license? Show it to me," Powa coldly glanced at Baqir, remembering the man mentioned by his brother-in-law during the phone call and seemed to have a big opinion of him.
"He's not a doctor, so how could he have any medical license. Director Dabney, please don't take him seriously. I heard he just saved your niece," Guylan hurriedly said with a smile.
"Practicing medicine without a license is a violation of the law. Take him away too. I'll call the police station later to pick up the people," Powa said with a cold laugh. He didn't have the authority to arrest people, but his sworn brother was the deputy director of the police station.
"More trouble than help," Granada glared fiercely at Baqir, then took out her phone to call her father to help smooth things over, so this useless guy wouldn’t actually get arrested.
Just as the two staff members were about to forcibly take action, a SUV recklessly sped up and screeched to a stop in front of the clinic. Two people quickly got out of the car, Tab and his father, who were extremely anxious.
Seeing his father-in-law and brother-in-law, Powa's face lit up, thinking this was a good opportunity to show off his achievements.
"Dad, you came just in time. I was about to shut down this clinic. I was also about to arrest these two quack doctors," Powa hurriedly greeted them.
Tab didn’t pay any attention to him, but quickly walked up to the crowd, urgently asking, "May I know which young friend treated my granddaughter's strange illness?"
"Dad, it's him!"
Ola immediately spotted Baqir in the crowd and pointed at him.
Tab quickly approached, politely saying, "Young friend, my granddaughter's strange illness has relapsed, and her life is hanging by a thread in the hospital. Please, I beg you to save her, I would be eternally grateful."
"Director Sandford, you're here," Guylan brightened up, seeing Tab being so polite to Baqir, and immediately realized the importance of the situation. He thought Baqir, who was just living off a woman, couldn’t possibly have any medical skills and had just luckily stumbled upon a solution earlier.
Hearing Powa and Ola addressing the elder man, Baqir understood his identity.
"Sorry, sir, I can't treat her," Baqir shook his head with a wry smile, "I don’t have a medical license. Your son-in-law just said I was practicing medicine illegally and was about to call the police on me."
"Nonsense! Roll over here and apologize to him right now!"
Tab glared fiercely at Powa behind him, then pointed at Ola and commanded sternly, "And you too! Come over and apologize together!"
Powa looked at Ola, confused about what was happening.
Seeing Ola's pale face and silence, Powa didn't dare to ask any questions and followed to apologize to Baqir, "Young man, I'm sorry, just now..."
"You should apologize not to me, but to her... my wife."
Just as they began to speak, Baqir interrupted them.
Baqir inwardly smiled bitterly, realizing for the first time how awkward it felt to say the word 'wife'.
"I'm sorry, Director Granada, I was too impatient before and spoke rudely. Please, forgive my ignorance and don't stoop to my level," Ola said sincerely, his previously arrogant demeanor completely gone.
"Dr. Granada, I apologize for the misunderstanding earlier due to my lack of clarity. Please forgive me." Powa, although reluctant, complied with his father-in-law's command.
"It's okay," Granada waved her hand magnanimously and turned to look at Baqir, her eyes filled with indescribable complexity. She was surprised to sense a hint of masculinity from him, which seemed impossible.
"Young friend, would you now be willing to come to the hospital and treat my granddaughter?" Tab asked earnestly.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Watkins, but he really doesn't know medical techniques. It was just luck earlier," Granada had to tell the truth, despite wishing Baqir could help the little girl, it was impossible.
"Yes, Mr. Watkins, you're overestimating him. He’s just a vocational school graduate, how could he know any medical techniques?" Guylan also hurriedly stepped forward to clarify, emphasizing the gravity of relying on someone unqualified like Baqir.
"Sir, they're right, I indeed have no formal medical training," Baqir, under the guise of Laszlo, responded honestly.
Hearing this, Tab's hopeful expression immediately dimmed, his weathered face showing a trace of sorrow.
"Father, see, I told you this guy was a fraud," Powa said smugly, feeling vindicated as Baqir admitted his lack of medical skills.
Baqir ignored him and addressed Mr. Watkins, "Though I haven't studied medicine formally, I've read quite a bit of medical literature and know a little about complex diseases. I've come across your granddaughter's condition in an ancient medical book. If you trust me, I'm willing to try and treat her."
"Of course, of course," Tab's eyes lit up again, and he quickly pulled Baqir towards the car.
Ola hurriedly ran to drive the car.
"Father, how can you believe a fraudster?"
Powa panicked, seeing his brother-in-law driving away and quickly instructed his men to follow.
"This lunatic!" Granada stomped her foot in frustration and followed them to the hospital.
Upon their hasty arrival at the emergency room, Kaden Lee immediately greeted them. He was surprised to see Baqir, finding him unexpectedly young.
The little girl in the emergency room was pale and motionless, her blood oxygen saturation had plummeted to 40%.
Kaden couldn't help but sighed. In his view, there was no hope left for this little girl.
"Doctor, do you have any filiform needles? Please get a few for me." Baqir said as he went in and felt the little girl's pulse.
"You mean to use acupuncture to treat it? How is this possible?" Kaden was a little surprised, but he still quickly asked the nurse to get the filiform needle.
Several physicians in the hospital were also a little puzzled, with a hint of disdain in their hearts. They felt that Baqir was a little too much. Could he cure a problem that their hospital's sophisticated instruments couldn't detect with just a few silver needles?
"Laszlo! Do you know what you are doing!"
At this time, Granada and Powa also followed. Granada looked at Baqir coldly. In her opinion, Baqir pretending to understand was tantamount to murder.
"I'm saving people." Baqir voice was soft but firm.
Granada wanted to say something else, but Baqir suddenly stepped forward and held her hand. Her whole body froze slightly, and her palm felt very warm, even a little burning.
"Believe me." Baqir looked at her eyes and said softly, feeling the softness in his hands and feeling panicked.
Granada pulled her hand back fiercely, her face turned slightly red, and she didn't say the rest of the words.
Baqir raised a satisfied smile at the corner of his mouth, turned his palm over, and grasped the red string peach core bracelet stolen from Granada wrist.
After the nurse brought the filiform needle, Baqir immediately pierced the Dazhu, Fengmen and Feishu points on the little girl's back.
These three acupuncture points are all in charge of the respiratory system, but the real cause of the little girl's illness is not here. Baqir tapped these three acupuncture points, one to help her breathe, and the other to conceal others.
Baqir then inserted a needle into the little girl's Quchi point and Taichong point.
When inserting the needle, his hand had already covered the little girl's abdomen, and he secretly recited the Resurrection Technique. His palm suddenly became hot, and a black energy immediately rose up from the little girl's body, surrounding her body.
The little girl snorted softly, then began to breathe heavily, and her face gradually turned rosy.
"It's...It's done!"
"Breathe again!"
"It's incredible!"
The knowledgeable doctors outside the door couldn't help but cheer.
Kaden looked puzzled. How could he be cured of such a strange disease by seemingly randomly injecting a few needles.
Ola, his wife and their child's grandmother burst into tears with excitement. Even Tab, who had seen a lot, couldn't help but shed tears in his eyes.
Granada, on the side, looked stunned and looked at Baqir who looked calm in surprise. She was a little dazed for a moment. Is this still the useless person from her memory?
