Brielle focused on the lashes that bordered on the defender's eyes, noticing for the first time how long and curled they were. "Because you want to," she repeated, blinking away. "Ayo told me that he'd caught you talking to Mei at one point, or maybe more than several occasions. Why?"

Talin crossed her arms. "Because I want to."
