The time was 2:45, but it had felt like we were only talking for mere minutes. Beth had decided that she wanted to enjoy something hard, and Vodka happened to be the first drink she spotted in the cabinet. I took a sip of the over bearing drink and decided that I wouldn't have any more enter my body, no matter how much Beth insisted.
"C'mon, Les! Just one more drink,” She pleaded. She was obviously entering the beginning stages of intoxication, for she could barely keep her balance...
