Chapter 6: Violence Or Tease

Today, after the incident, when I woke up, I was shocked to see where I was. 'Well, did you expect to be in a 5-star hotel after drowning?' Zene scowled. 'Obviously not!' I said in a duh voice. But I didn't expect to be a patient in a hot guy's house!! I was awake. I wanted to pee, I tried getting up, but I was pulled down by two strong arms that were wrapped around my waist. I felt safe. I remembered what happened a few hours ago, and I played along with him while he flirted, thinking about that made me giggle. Unfortunately, my giggle made him snuggle closer. I have no idea but Zene was laughing her ass off, aren't wolves supposed to be supportive. 'ZENE, help your favorite person,' I begged. 'Who said you were my favorite person?' Zene said with a questioning voice. 'I don't think I told you yet, but I think you are pretty rude.' I said. I swear I could feel her glaring at me. 'Anyway, help me, pretty please?!' I begged again. 'Okay, okay! Choose - violence or tease?' she asked. I thought, violence, in the morning? I turned on the bed, now I was facing Knox. I started by kissing his jawline and then down his neck, which made him groan. I smirked. Looks like I found a sweet spot, huh? I slowly went to his ear. "Knox," I whispered, which made him jump up and out of the bed. I laughed hard, so hard that I had to hold my stomach. His reaction was priceless, I swear! I turned to see Knox glaring at me. Well, at least he is awake. But soon his glare turned into a smirk. I stopped laughing. I knew exactly what that 'smirk' meant. As he started making his way towards me, I sprinted towards the washroom and closed the door. I felt his footsteps come closer. "Zes, Mi Amor, crees que puedes escapar tan fácilmente después de lo que hiciste?" he spoke in Spanish, Damn that accent was hot. It was beautiful. I did my business and went to the steel frame mirror and saw my reflection. The bruise had already healed, and my face was a bit pale. I let out a loud sigh and headed towards the door. I opened to find Knox sitting on a grey armchair with a smirk on his face. I ran to the door and quickly got out of his room and ran downstairs. I found Alpha Samuel entering the house and Luna Lily in the kitchen. Before I could say something, somebody tackled me. Now I was on the couch, and Knox was on top of me. Before I could say anything, he started tickling me. "Kn-Knoxxx Sto-stop" I in between my laughter, he was laughing as well. "Not so fast, princess," he said with a smirk. Oh, my god, this guy has to stop smirking. If he doesn't, it'll be the death of me. "Kn-Kn-Knox! Yo-Your Pa-Parents," I said between laughs. Knox immediately stood up and saw his mom giggling and his dad smirking. I think this smirking thing runs in the family. Thinking about that, I chucked, which made Knox glare at me. I stuck my tongue out. "Very mature, Zes. , Very," Knox chuckled. , "Y, we are heading to you. We have some issues to discuss with Alpha Augustus." Alpha Samuel said while heading out. "Knox will tell you about the issue." I nodded and turned to Knox, only to find his wolf in control. I slowly walked towards him, weirdly, something told me he would not hurt me. Something bad happened, his wolf is in control, but what happened? I touched his shoulder, and he relaxed under my touch. Then I hugged him. "What's your name ?" I asked his wolf. "It's Ryder, Il Mi Amore." he hugged me and replied, his voice was a bit deeper than Knox's. [my love] "Ryder, let Knox have control," I asked him while I held him. I looked up to see Knox, his eyes were back to blue. I hugged him one last time and pulled back. "You have some explaining to do, mister," I said in a stern voice. From the time I met himfeltfeel this weird attraction towards him. I also hope he is my mate, but his birthday is over. I reached his room and sat on the bed. he closed the door and sat in his grey armchair. "Hey, Knox, isn't your birthday over? Haven't found your mate?" I asked him, I don't want him to say yes or no. A smile crept onto his face. Oh, my moon goddess, that is creepy. "Yes, I found her," he said with a smile., My face fell with disappointment, but I immediately covered it with a smile. "Where is she ?" I asked with a fake smile, Something isn't right. I normally don't get this angry. "I found her, but I didn't tell her yet.t I want her to find out," he said. "Oh! What was your dad talking about ?" I questioned, remembering what happened. "You know, we had a meeting about the recent rogue attacks?" he asked. I nodded for him to continue. "Well, we found the reason behind the attacks." He stated. "Wha-" I began, but he cut me off. "Let me explain first, okay?" I huffed in annoyance because he cut me off. "When you were unconscious, three rogues jumped in front of u, and I killed two of them, and one was left alive for interrogation. That was when we figured out what they wanted." He stopped as if to phrase the next part carefully. "These rogues were ordered by the rogue Alpha to bring you." I looked at him with a bewildered expression and gestured for Knox to continue. "He wants you to be his mate. The rogue mentioned that he has asked you before, but you rejected him. He has ordered the rogues to keep you away from your mate by not letting you find him or him find you. They're going to kidnap you on your birthday, which happens to be tomorrow ." He finished. I took all of the information he just gave. He waited for me to reply. "Oh yeah, my birthday is tomorrow. Come to my house, okay?" I was suddenly excited. Knox looked shocked, and then he said, "Out of all I said, don't tell me you only caught that." "Of course not, I heard what you said, but I am inviting you, and let's head to my pack. I need to choose my dress for tomorrow,w and we will discuss it with my dad, and I am going to find my mate tomorrow ." I began rambling and giggling to myself. He chuckled and got up. "You are excited, huh? Let's go," he said as he walked towards the door. As we reached the door, we shifted into our wolf forms and ran. Even Wiskey joined our run. I heard a growl behind me, and I knew it was Knox. I reached my packGuards were standing by the gates. They took notice of us and pointed their swords at Knox. I growled, warning the guard,s they turned to me and put their swords down. I went to my house and banged the door with my paws. I didn't shift back because we didn't have clothes. My mum opened the door. I headed inside with Knox following me. We were still in our wolf forms. As I came in front of my door, I stopped and figured out how to open the door with my paws. I sighed and My mind linked to my mom. 'Mum, can u open my door for me, please?' I asked. 'Sure,' she replied. She came upstairs and opened it for me, and went down. I entered my room, Knox and Wiskey closely followed behind me. need the D shift back, but Knox was still here., I mentally groaned. 'Knox, get out of my room,' I ordered. 'Wow, I helped you and you're asking me to get out,' He scoffed. 'I need to shift, please,e' I tried again. 'Fine.' With that, he went out with whiskey following him. I closed the door and I shifted back. I went to my closet and chose a sweatshirt with black tights. When I opened the door, I found Knox lying on the ground with Wiskey. Anyway, I petted Wiskey and,nox, both of them purred, which made me chuckle. "Ok Knox, head back to your house, I will meet you tomorrow," I said. 'Ok, bye. See you tomorrow,w.' he licked my face, still in his wolf form, and went downstairs. I guess that was a goodbye kiss. I chuckled to myself, if I sent him off and closed the door. I was going to my room, but I stopped when my mom called me. "Who is he?" She asked. "He is Knox, Future Alpha of the Blood Moon pack," I replied. She nodded. I went to my room and went to bed. It was 8, I guess. Whiskey jumped on me and snuggled closer to me. Oh, he does remember me. I thought he had forgotten me cause he was with Knox the whole time. Zene chuckled at my thoughts. This was one of the things we werewolves had to deal with- a person in our head who can hear and probably see our every thought. 'Night Zene,' I said to her. 'Night Zes,' she replied. I am going to meet my mate tomorrow!!!! Yes!!!!. With that thought being the only thought in my mind, sleep consumed me.
