"So with this, the contract would the valid without any fault... What do you think, Mr. Quinn?" Asked a blonde woman in her late thirties. Although the man whose question was referred to didn't seem concentrated on anything they were doing. Since he found out that Tara was picked by Vanessa, his mind hasn't been at rest. Standing up abruptly, Rowen said with a straight face, "The meeting shall be adjourned." And he walked away, leaving everyone speechless. Of course, no one dared to say anything unless they wanted their company destroyed in seconds. Taking his coat, Rowen instructed, "George, find out where Tara and Vanessa are and take me to them.. I don't trust that woman one bit." Meanwhile, Tara and Vanessa were having fun. From one ride to another. Vanessa felt like puking, though, yet she held it in for Tara's sake. This is the most fun the little girl has had in years. Rowen was rich and gave her everything she wanted, but his time was hard to give. He was busy with one meeting after another, and it was Vanessa's duty to take care of the child. But she neglected the poor child and cared more about her career than her family. To summarize it all, Tara had quite a sad childhood while growing up. But all that was going to change. Smiling, Vanessa said, "Why don't we go for the family tunnel ride, u heard it's quite nice." "Yah! I overheard some girls talking about it, I wanna give it a try with momma," she grinned widely. "Alright, let's go get the tickets." And with that, they made their way to the ticket booth, but unfortunately for them, the tunnel was shut down. Sighing, Vanessa was about to inform Tara when a group of young girls rushed towards her. "Mrs. Quinn, Mrs. Quinn, we would love to have e photo with you." "Please, Mrs. Quin?!!" Damn! She forgot to cover her face with a mask. Guess she was so used to the fact that in her last life, after things went bad for her with her career, she lost face and became the least of everyone's fantasies. Bending down to Tara's height, Vanessa gave the girl her phone as she said, "Here you go, baby, use it and play some games. Go sit down there, I'll be done in a few minutes." She pointed at the empty bench, nd with that, Tara nodded and did as she was told. Smiling awkwardly, she posed as they all started to surround her, taking one pic after the other. They didn't stop there; it was as though everyone in the park was informed of her appearance, as she was surrounded by a huge crowd. For about 30 good minutes, they kept surrounding her until the park security came and separated her from the crowd. Finally free, Vanessa sighed as she then made her way towards the bench, but to her surprise, Tara was nowhere to be found. Immediately, Vanessa began to panic as she called out Tara's name, but there was no response. Vanessa's heart pounded in her chest as she scanned the park, hoping to catch a glimpse of Tara. The joy and excitement she had felt just moments ago had evaporated, replaced by a gnawing fear that gripped her tightly. Her eyes darted from one person to another, searching for any sign of the little girl. But Tara was nowhere to be found. "Tara!" she called out again, her voice trembling with desperation. "Tara, where are you?" The park, which had been filled with laughter and fun, now felt like an endless maze. Vanessa's mind raced with worst-case scenarios, each more terrifying than the last. She frantically approached the park security, her voice choked with emotion. "Please, you have to help me. My daughter is missing. She's only seven years old. I...I can't find her anywhere." The security officer, seeing the distress in Vanessa's eyes, immediately sprang into action. He called for backup and began coordinating a search. "Don't worry, ma'am. We'll find her. Just try to stay calm," he assured her, though Vanessa found it impossible to do so. As the security team spread out across the park, asking visitors if they had seen a little girl matching Tara's description, Vanessa's fear deepened. Each passing minute felt like an eternity. Tears welled up in her eyes as she replayed the events leading up to this moment. How could she have been so careless? She had just wanted Tara to have fun, to give her a day filled with happiness, but now it felt like the world was crashing down around her. After almost an hour of searching, Tara was nowhere to be found, a nd at this point, Vanessa felt her whole world collapse. She wasn't with her phone, so she immediately went to the phone booth. Calling her phone in case Tara would pick u, but unfortunately, there was no answer, so she had no other Choice but to call Rowen. But she didn't know his phone number. Collapsing to the ground, she kept on crying as just then, the voice sshehad bebeen achingo hear sounded. "Vanessa?" Rowen stood there, his face confused by her crying face as he scanned her surroundings, yet no sign of his daughter. "Where is Tara?" His words alone felt as though she was being stabbed ten times as she hesitated to reply. Rowen's anger started to flare up as he asked once again, but this time, more terrifying than the other. "S-she.. she's missing. Tara is missing Rowen!!"
