I feel like a real princess in this dress, the diamonds, etc. 30 minutes ago, a servant brought two big packaged boxes, telling me that Dadd forgot to give them to me. I opened the first box to see a pair of evening gloves with pieces of diamond on them, a beautiful cocktail diamond ring, a diamond bead chain, diamond drop earrings, and a pair of ankle strap high heels all having the same blue color. I opened the other box to find an emerald blue diamond tiara so luminous that I can see my reflection on it.
The hairstylist placed the crown on my head, and it fits perfectly. I ask everybody to leave the room and I take some minutes admiring myself in the mirror. I look like a bride and a real queen!
"Lee, I've been waiting 5 minutes for you now. Show yourself here so I can admire you." Lydia says, her voice bringing me back to earth. I look at myself in the mirror once again, and I smile at the beautiful
lady standing there and not that nerd with glasses, nor a monster. I walk towards the door, turning to see Lydia in a black dress with a black diamond tiara. There's something about her that is so different, but I can't figure out why, because I'm too excited to think twice. To my other surprise, I see Bryan in a royal blue velvet suit with an emerald diamond crown just like mine. They both extend their arm, and with the help of mine, we link arms together. Lydia is on the left and Bryan at the right. For the first time in history, we are acting so normal, but I couldn't care less.
"I never knew you were that pretty for a bitch!" Bryan sa,ys smirking.
"If I decide to kill you, it'll surely not be on my birthday. So, hold your tongue." I say, glaring at him. As we approach the ballroom, I can hear people cheering, talking, king even dancing to the sweet Canon in D playing. We make our way to the stairs leading down to the ballroom and begin getting down. Upon reaching down, I can see a lot of royals, including children. They all stopped whatever they were doing to stare at us as the instrumentalists played a beautiful but slow waltz song. Reaching down the stairs, I let go of my siblings' arms as I make my way to Dad, all heads bowing down as I pass. Dad is standing beside a huge table with tons of food and other kings as well. He extends his hand as I reach to where he is standing, holding it and placing a soft kiss on it. He raises his wineglass and begins his speech.
"Good evening, everyone," he says. "My greetings to all 36 royal families, noble families, businessmen, paparazzi, and others. I thank y'all for coming to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday, Lenora
Nelson, Princess of the Tombstone kingdom, om here tonight. I'm grateful and I wiyou'll all a great evening and enjoy yourselves." He says, ending his short but great speech. "Cheers to all vampire
kingdoms!" he says, raising his wineglass. "Cheers!" they reply as they raise their wine glasses, followed by claps.
"You're really beautiful, my darling." He says, sizing me up and down.
"Dad, thanks a lot!" I s, ay looking sadWhat'st's wrong?" Dad cuts in.
"I've had horrible hatred for you," I start. "I know I've been horrible and acting rude, and to top it all, I'm a monster!"Tearss suddenly rolled down, probably spoiling my makeup.
"Listen," he says, wiping my tears off. You're beautiful, my little vampire. Don't let people, even me, call you a monster, and let it affect you. You have an incurable disease, and I'm the one to blame because I put that on you! Mom is so proud of you, and I can feel it. You look just like her with your unique grey eyes and hair. The dres, along with the jewelry, are gifts I gave to your mom before her tragic disappearance.ce, Take good care of them." He says, holding my hands.
"I'll, Dadd!" I say.
"I trust you. Now let me present all the princes and princesses of different kingdoms."
"Okay, Dad!"
I spent 20 minutes greeting and bowing down to princes and princesses. I saw a lot of princes, some handsome, rich, intelligent, all giving me expensive necklaces, watches, crowns, and even dresses. I
have like ten maids helping me bring all the gifts into my room, poor maids. I've never been interested in any guys because I've never been to schools or parties because of my disease, making me an
introvert. After standing awkwardly and greeting princes and princesses, I told Dadd that I needed to drink a glass of water, and he told me to be quick because there's one more special guy left. I sighed, turning to grab a glass of water at the nearest table. Luckily, I saw Lydia heading towards me with a glass of what looked like water. But instead, the liquid looks like wine, but it's too red, like blood, as she
approaches closer.
"Feeling numb?" she asks in a drunken tone. "Take this," she says, opening my hand, making me hold the glass of whatever. "How many shots have you taken?" I ask, holding the glass. "It doesn't matter, Leeee,"
She says. "Just drink!" I look at her, then the glass. Although I don't drink, taking a shot wouldn't be that terrible, would it? Following her words, I raised the glass closer to my mouth. With eyes closed, I
swallowed everything till the last drop. And boy, does that feel good! I can feel my senses getting more sharpened, my heart beating faster than usual,l and I feel like flying!
"Am I drunk yet? Whatever it is, I need more!
"Feeling good, Leeee?" Lydia asks, bringing me back to my senses. "Whatever it is," I say, feeling high. "I NEED MORE!" I snarl. "Woo, woo, wo,o calm down!" Lydia says, placing her hands on my shoulders. "I'll give you more, but you have to talk with the pre and I don't want him seeing you that high." She says, looking behind me. "Which prince?" I ask, confused. "This," she says as she spins me over to lookDaDad is looking at a handsome and young guy. I'm sure he is in his mid-20s by the way he appears. His clothes aren't the same as the princes I met before. Judging by his looks, he is dressed like a king! With his medium golden hair, along with his black eyes and pale but sexy skin, he looks like a prince you'll imagine when reading a book. Lydia pushes me from the back and tells me to go and meet him. I walkslowlyly barely noticing people in front of me as my eyes are fixed on him and him alone.
