"Shiloh..Shiloh.." The voice echoed inside my head, between conscious and unconscious. I could feel the hands that continued to explore my body, and they breathed on my neck. Lips that felt rough and dry kissed every inch of my body. It was uncomfortable, and I felt like throwing up.
Disgusting.
I opened my eyes, and suddenly a bright light flashed across my face. My eyes tried to adjust, and I blinked repeatedly. My head hurt like crazy. I winced, my body hurt from head to toe.
Whimpered, I couldn't move my body, everything felt stiff, and I felt so weak.
When I got used to the light, I stared at the white ceiling, the scent that my nose smelled, and I knew I wasn't in that disgusting place.
Then, where was I?
The sound of loafers clashing with the floor was heard approaching. "Wow, your body control is hilarious." The deep voice made me turn my head.
A man I didn't recognize was standing beside my bed, eyes piercing like the gaze of a tiger. I could sniff the smell of leftover tobacco emanating from his body.
His voice where heard again?
"Shh...." I wanted to ask, but my voice couldn't come out; my throat felt so dry and painful.
"No need to talk, you're still on drugs. The doctor said it's gonna take a while for those drugs to lose their effect on your body." The man said, leaning towards me and smiling widely.
I could see his face, the high nose, the firm jaw, and the fragrant scent.
It's like a tangerine scent.
I blinked, a man with a fierce face had a tangerine scent?
Is he an Alpha? Judging by his tall and big stature, I'm sure he's an alpha. I have never once smelled this kind of scent from an Alpha.
"You, beautiful." He said, then walked away from me.
I was still silent, unable to react because my head felt so heavy. His last words rang in my head before my eyes finally closed for the umpteenth time.
The sound of rustling was heard in my ears, opening my eyes that were so heavy I could finally see the light again. The dim light, the scent of tangerines wafted over me as I regained my consciousness.
Out of the corner of my eye, I could see his arched back. He's rummaging through the plastic contents on the table.
I frowned again, trying to remember where I had seen him before. He's too familiar.
He turned his head and looked somewhat surprised to find me staring. As he walked closer, I could smell the tangerine's scent even more.
"Is that your pheromone's smell?" I asked, and I can see that he's startled after hearing my voice.
Well, I was also surprised that my voice sounded so hoarse and terrible.
"What's smell?" He asked, sit beside my bed.
He's wearing a neat-looking long-sleeved shirt, and I could see his suit jacket and tie folded neatly on the sofa. His hair neatly slicked back with hair gel, he looked like he had just come back from an office job.
"Tangerines," I replied to his questions instead.
He looked surprised again for a minute, and then I couldn't see him chuckling.
"Never heard someone tell me my pheromone smell like a Tangerine before. Am I smelling... Sour?" He said, crossed his long legs, back against the chair he was sitting on.
His sharp eyes again looked at me fiercely.
I don't respond to him quickly; my brain is still processing what he said. I don't lie, though, he smells like a tangerine. His sweet pheromone filled the room. For me, it's a great smell. After a month smelling something nasty in that place, this room feels so comfy, warm, plus his pheromone makes me calm for no reason.
"The sweet one, it's the sweet tangerine smell."
He looked confused for a while when he heard my answer, I could see his eyebrows raised one and he smiled a little.
"Interesting, I didn't know my pheromone smelled like that. You're the first to say it."
I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but seeing him smile, I'm sure the man is in a good mood. Again, I don't know who he is or why I'm here. Questions filled my head, but the comfort of smelling the pheromones made me forget all those, even for a moment.
I'll ask him later.
"But I've never smelled sweet tangerines, is that a good thing?" He asked again.
I looked back at him and nodded slowly.
"Your scent calms me."
I don't know if my words get through to him, I don't even understand what I'm saying right now. I guess the drugs are still on me.
I can't remember how he looked when I said that because my head was still so heavy that it made me open my eyes again.
"But, sir, excuse me.. Who are you?" I asked slowly.
