I turned 11.
I realized something terrible.
I'm going to attend school from the age of fifteen.
It's called a magic academy.
I thought, "Why do I, a count, need to attend an academy?"
I thought so, but it seems that if I don't graduate from the academy, I will be ridiculed.
That's no good.
I like to look down on people, but I hate it when people look down on me.
I never learned any type of magic until now.
My parents, who are scum, said that magic is useless, so they didn't let me learn it.
But if I don't, I'll be the joke of the whole school.
I don't want that to happen.
I want to avoid that even if it kills me.
So I ordered Lampard to call the best wizard in the territory.
I forced the one working as a court magician in the royal capital to come and work for me.
What a lavish use of money to call in an excellent wizard with money to spare.
This is why aristocrats can't be stopped.
Because everything can be managed with money and power.
Ha-ha-ha-ha!
After all, money is everything in this world!
Aristocrats are the best!
I made the wizard live in my place and work for me.
I ordered the wizard to spend all of these hours on my education.
I even popped into the room while the wizard was sleeping and ordered," teach me".
"Night crawling?' But there was no way I would do such a low-level thing.
I would never do such a low-level thing.
I'm just a kid, for God's sake.
I don't even feel that way.
I'm the boss of the territory!
I have the luxury of having the best and most talented person in the territory work for me.
Thanks to that, my magic improved rapidly.
Ha-ha-ha-ha!
It seems I also have talent!
Money, power, and talent!
Sherlick was assigned to educate the renowned prodigy, Ark Noyadarma.
She was greatly indebted to Ark.
Her father had been treated unfairly by the previous Count Galm, who blamed him for bribes and injustices.
He was also put on trial, but the trial was a made-up trial to begin with.
And just as the sentence was about to be passed, the previous Count Galm died, and Ark was bestowed the title of Count Galm.
Immediately afterwards, Ark quickly proved the innocence of her father.
He let her work with her father as a servant of the Count's family, just as before.
Incidentally, she was attending a magic academy at the time.
However, she was about to be expelled from the academy due to her father's alleged misconduct.
Thanks to Arc, she was able to escape expulsion and graduate from the academy without incident.
Now, she serves the royal court as a court magician, which has always been her dream.
However, working for Arc, to whom she owed a great debt of gratitude, was more important to her than being a court magician.
She immediately went to Arc and began teaching him magic.
Arc was eager to learn.
He was greedy for knowledge and asked Sharlik questions at any hour of the day.
When he woke her up in the middle of the night, she was surprised because she thought he was a nightcrawler.
"I would not crawl in the night with you, you fool".
When Ark said this to her, it was a shock to her.
But Sharlick was impressed by the seriousness with which he was learning.
He was a bit buoyed by the fact that she had become a court magician.
Or should it be said that she had become overly self-confident?
However, serving Arc made Sherlick realize that she still had a lot to learn, so she began to study hard and began researching magical theory, which she had been planning for a long time.
As a result, Sharlick created a new magical theory.
This creates a different flow from the original story, but that is another story.
Incidentally, it is rare for an aristocrat to ask a commoner like Sharlick to educate him.
If it were an ordinary nobleman, he would be prejudiced against commoners.
However, Ark did not care about that.
The words of Arc are still fresh in Sharlick's mind.
"I don't care if you are a commoner or a nobleman. It doesn't matter.
I learn from those who want to learn. I want to learn from the most talented.
So I will learn from you. From the top wizard of the Magic Academy, Sharlick New Theory."
How many nobles can say that?
Even after graduating at the top of her class at the academy, she was often disrespected because of her status as a commoner.
Sharlick was moved by the situation of being properly recognized.
And she was happy to work under someone like Arc.
Incidentally, when she uttered this line, Arc was thinking, "Taking time away from the best of the best is the most extravagant thing I could do! '
Of course, there was no way that Sherlick could have known that.
No one knows whether it is a blessing or a curse for Sherrick that she does not know Ark's thoughts and feelings.
Sherlick.
In the original story, she is the female character who supports the protagonists.
She is originally involved in the story as an adventurer, not as a court magician.
Her original plotline is that she could not become a court magician because she was expelled from the school.
As an adventurer, she is the one who guides the main characters in the battle against Ark.
However, the future of this world has been changed by Arc's interventions.
The biggest change is still Sherlock's devising of the magic theory.
It is not known how the future will change as a result of this.
However, certainly, the story will further diverge from the original story as a result of Arc's learning of the magical theory.
In this way, Arc again unknowingly changed not only Sherrick's fate but his destiny as well.
