Chapter 4

The killers left while laughing. He let them go since he doesn't know if he will be able to take them on. They wear horned helmets, and all of them are topless. By only wearing armoured pants. He is currently watching the victims slowly die. But before the woman died. He felt pity for her. And when he tried to heal her from afar. It succeeds. Though he doesn't feel remorseful about these people dying. Of course, it is not his fault for their death. He just saved the woman since he felt pity for her. But she's unconscious seems like she will be asleep till tomorrow. He is not guilty of their deaths. If they are bound to die. It is not his fault. He just doesn't want to be involved. What if it is a rivalry? Or anything like they are criminals? Or anything else. He just doesn't want to be involved in those kinds of things. Also, it seems that he can't get anything from those people. That is why he doesn't help. It also seems they are not knowledgeable about the things he wanted to know. But watching a woman die just kind of moved him,o he helped. He continued sitting there. But even though it is currently night. He doesn't feel sleepy. It is as if he's not getting tired. He decided to stay up all night watching the bodies there. He tried experiments. He tried to create other spells and even tried to revive the two bodies without waking up the woman, since he's flying when he does. But sadly, it is not good. They didn't get revived. This is also the reason he let them die. To see if he can revive dead persons. The woman almost wakes up. But he cast a sleeping spell on her, so she's still down. It is the spell he discovered when experimenting just now. A few hours passed, and he then saw that the sun was going up; he was still up and didn't even feel a little bit drowsy. He heard footsteps and immediately turned invisible and flew up to where he was spying from the tree branch. "Ah! My wife!" "Huh!? Sister!" "She's stabbed through the back... Wait. She's breathing." "Wake her up! Brother!" He saw two people. A man and a woman. The man has a pretty muscular body and pretty decent looks. While the woman is a sister of the woman he saved. She has black hair. Big bosoms, and she's wearing a skirt and shirt the same as the woman. They are villagers. She checked the two bodies and told her companion that they were lost. "Brother. They are dead." "It is fine. Let's carry your sister first, she needs attention." "Yes!" Takao still chose to stay. He got down from the branch. He looked once again at the bodies up close. "They are starting to emit bad smells now. Suddenly, somebody came. He had a hunch that it was not the previous 2 before. He purposely let the person see him. "Who are you?" He has a spear on hand with an iron tip. "Relax. I'm not an enemy." "Then what are you doing to the bodies?" "I'm just looking at them." "No. You might be one of the barbarians!" "It is bad to make accusations without evidence, you know?" "Just get away from here!" "What if I don't?" The person suddenly attacked him. Dashing towards him at an unbelievable speed. It is really good that I didn't engage in the fight before. If I do then I'm fucked up. Now I know. I'm right that the people are like the li, who have supernatural capabilities. He created a barrier. The spear hit the barrier. It pushed him a bit. Not the same as when the lion attacked. Then it broke. "What!?" "What is that thing!?" "You've got no weapon now." "Ah!!!" He can fully understand the capabilities of his abilities. The person keeps hitting the barrier. It is true. Humans here have superhuman capabilities. Further proven based on the force that a person is currently applying to the barrier. Much weaker than the lion that can blow me away with every hit. I will use a large fire to kill every single person in your village." Of course, it is a bluff. After all, he doesn't know if he can kill anybody here just by mere fire without trapping them. "How are you able to do this? Are you a monster?" "No, I'm not." "But. There's no such person who could command such ability like you." "Really?" "Yes. Nobody even knows what magic you're talking about. Not even a single person in our village knows about this magic you're muttering." "Fine. I accept your explanation." "Thank you. But wait. The people will freak out if they see floating bodies. Before we arrive. Let me carry them." "Fine. How can you easily erase your fear of me?" "Of course. To be honest. I only need to obey, right?
