I wish he could understand my reason for becoming Alpha Axel's mate, but he wouldn't just understand. He won't even believe me and might conclude that my visions are just mere dreams. I began packing the necessary things I needed. In less than ten minutes, I was done packing. I dragged my big box along as I went downstairs. By the time I got back to the sitting room, my father was already up on his feet, and he wouldn't stop ranting, cursing, and yelling at me. Lucas rushed to me and helped me out with my heavy box. My father gave me a long and hateful stare, the look on his face showed how disappointed and angry he was. He should know I am doing this for my good. Does he prefer me dying in the hands of a ruthless Alpha who has no regard for women? "Scarlett, I am ordering as your father, not to step an inch out of this house. Don't let his threats pin you down; if being disowned is the price you have to pay to save your own life, do it. I am sure he would understand when the time comes," Kyra, my wolf, and I gulped. I wiped the traces of tears on my face and took a deep breath., I just have to do this! "Let's go," I said slowly to Lucas, and we both turned to leave. "Scarlett! Scarlett! Scarlett!" My father shouted angrily, but I never turned to look back at him. When I got to the entrance, I looked back at him, nd with tears in my eyes, I mind-linked him. "Be a good father and live with. Well, I will be back soon." "If you leave this house, you will stop being my daughter, Scarlett!" My father yelled, and I got out and shut the door immediately. I stood in a spot and tried holding back my tears that threatened to fall. "Hey, are you okay?" Lucas suddenly asked me, and I nodded positively. "Let's go," I urged, and we both left for where his car was parked. Alpha Axel was sitting and waiting patiently in the backseat while Lucas drove off immediately. "Are you okay? I could hear your father's scream, Did he hit you?" Alpha Axel asked concernedly as he caressed the cheek, My father slapped me. There was a stain of blood on the kips, and he wiped them off immediately. "He is so sweet, right?" Kyra, w,hined, and I smiled lightly. My eyes darted to Alpha's Axel face as he cleaned the blood on my lips, the concerned look on his face while doing that was just priceless. I never made a mistake striking a deal with him; he is surely going to treat me well and protect it. "It's supposed to have healed up since it was just a minor wound," Alpha Axel said, retrieving his hands from my cheeks. Should I tell him that I was a weak Omega and my whole health is in the slowest process, unlike other werewolves? What would happen if I told him that? Won't he see me as being too weak to become his mate? What if he suddenly changes his mind and calls off the deal I had with him? "You're mine, Scarlett, and I will take you back by all means, it doesn't matter if I achieve that by force." Bryton suddenly mind-linked with me, and I broke the hug immediately. Alpha Axel looked at me with a puzzled look, wondering why I broke free like that. "Are you okay, or did something go wrong? Did I in any way..." I interrupted him before he accused himself.
